I remember a very, very, very vigorous bidding war for the charity package. a most honorable gentleman won the auction and went on to demonstrate his selflessness. never a more honorable hero of the realm has played a lute or sang a ballad.

It was booby trapped, watched, patrons "threatened", but someone always seemed to be able to Steal the Cheese. Aaaah, that was the year of the alarmed cheese.
Lift it up, and the magnet underneath would know, and make a piercing BEEEEEPing noise until it was replaced.
Of course, you didn't have to replace it with the chunk of cheese... you could replace it with a different chunk of metal...... (cue Indiana Jones music)
