I would say there are some newer players who are collecting kilts and teeth hoping to get to a 2 or 3 piece bonus with one of those.

Changing those bonuses would infuriate those people for sure.

I'm not against change or the Eldritch bonus phasing out of future transmutes. Just don't change the metrics mid release cycle. 4 years into the Cavadar (and nearly complete on the kilt) is not the time.

But to play Advocate - we almost only had 3 adventures at Gen Con. Into the Viper's Pit was a late & great addition. Home run.

I know that Wade's quote was a response to my comment...I have no idea if Ed's remark is just a general one, or if it's directed at my thoughts on the future of the Eldritch bonus.

Either way, I think that large scale changes should be announced as far in advance as is possible. I dare say that such planning and thought can reduce the number of individuals who end up angry or upset.

Arnold, my comment was not directed at you or anyone. It is just the fact that no matter the change some people are going to be upset. Take the example of the guy that won the lottery and was upset that he had to pay more taxes.

I also concur it is ideal if there is more long term planning and communication. I think TD is getting better about that but still has room for improvement.

I opened another thread relating to 4/5 piece Eldritch set powers. Since this item will allow 4 possible Eldritch items might be good to think about set powers. If you have some ideas please jump over, read, and post.
