TOPIC: 2019 Transmuted Token Suggestions (Non-Kilt)

This thread is to propose 2019 New Transmuted Tokens, excluding the Eldritch Kilt, which will have it's own thread.

I'd love to see a transmuted bard instrument at the relic and/or legendary level.

A transmuted Ioun Stone is something we don't have yet either.

For Ioun Stone, maybe reprint Ioun Stone Lavender Ellipsoid and provide a transmute path for it? Maybe add protection from touch attacks by evil outsiders?

UR - Greater Unholy Symbol of Nerull - Allow casting Heal spells as Harm (cast as scroll)

Relic - High Priest's Unholy Symbol of Nerull - Allow casting Heal spells as Harm (apply up to 10 points of spell damage bonus)

Legendary - X's Unholy Symbol of Nerull - Allow casting Heal spells as Harm (apply full spell damage bonus)

Amulet of Pelor's Might
May cast Cure Wounds spells as Cause Wounds spells (cast as scroll)

May cast Cure Wounds spells as Cause Wounds spells, +2 damage/healing to spells

Can an affordable +1 level transmute be put in, even if it has restrictions like the Amulet of Heroism (or even print the amulet as a transmute)? If it needs to be something that hasn't been printed before, could it be something like an ioun stone that gives +1 level and doesn't let you wear charms? My group would love to go to 5th level characters, but most have to chose between buying the gear to go +1 level or playing in TD.

I definitely think it is time to get creative and more class-specific on Legendaries. In the past there was concern about getting weapons for everybody, and keeping the Legendaries fairly universally usable. Well, we ended up with things like Thor's Hammer, which a Wizard can run around with, and a Ranger can slide in each hand. I don't think it is ideal.

Just for the fun of it, I just created a Legendary-level Wizard build with Thor's Hammer and focused on STR, AC, and HP. I ended up with an AC of 30, a STR of 32 (+19 to-hit and +19 damage for melee), 28 DEX (+14 to-hit and +17 damage for ranged), and 50 HP.

Compare that to the maxed out Ranger (excluding Thor's Hammer) I just used at GenCon: AC 34, STR 30 (+19 to-hit and +17 damage for melee), 22 DEX (+12 to-hit and +11 damage for ranged), and 74HP.

I'm just saying let's make some new stuff that caters to the individual classes so we can see better build diversity.

A couple of ideas:

- Greaves of Free Action
Requires all three Greaves and some misc trade goods/gold

- Assassins Hood
Rogues can really use a new hood for Backstabbing. So something with the standard no round prep plus another benefit like AC, saves or Dex bonus. This can be a UR too but may make more sense for a transmute.

- Some kind of powerful item made from one of every completion token 2016-2018. It's insane how many there are now. This would be a really nice reward/incentive to playing every run.

How about First round sneak & may sneak attack at ranged (we had boots last year & leaping attack means we already have access to the power so I don't think it would be OP.)

Or we could use it to address the rogues over all abysmal combat performance by making it something like sneak first round & +2 damage.

I'd love to see another completion token transmute, but I'd recommend starting it with this or next years completion tokens so people have some notice they are supposed to be saving stuff.

Transmuted hat for non-heavy-armor types (Wizards/Monks/etc)

I don't really care what it does, it just needs to look like this

I would like a Relic and Legendary Hand of Glory. Of every token out there, the ring is the one I'm most often forced to leave out fun ones that I'd like to equip.

I think a Relic and Legendary Bard instrument would be awesome.

I would also like to see a UR+ Ioun Stone.

Once upon a time I suggested a HoG upgrade path that added additional items. It was like 1 ring and 1 charm for Relic, and 1 ring, 1 charm, and 1 ioun stone on Legend.
