My guess is the World Builders True Dungeon Tickets up on Ebay. It probably would have been a good Idea to announce it before black friday.

huh, neat...and im the current high bid on both. someone low-balled with $50 bids...at least my low-ball bid is over $100

I don't know if that's a "new" thing, though. World Builders has auctioned off TD tickets in the past, too, with no particular fanfare on the TD site.

I wonder if everyone is seeing the tickets. I don't see it when I type in True Dungeon, even though True Dungeon is in the title. And World Builders isn't in the title.

I'm hoping that isn't the big news though, it doesn't seem big enough for the promised announcement.

These tickets I believe were donated by Jeff and True Dungeon to raise money for Patrick Rothfuss's non-profit charity Worldbuilders. The charity is currently in the middle of their 8th annual fundraiser.

Since Jeff said the announcement will be "early December" and the WorldBuilder tickets will be sold by early December, I really doubt that's the surprise.

Raven, good point. I was thinking the announcement would be soon, I had forgotten it specified early December. I'm looking forward to finding out what the big announcement is. I'm still guessing it is an expansion of True Dungeon of some sort, either at WYC, another True Realm, or maybe another Convention.

I think Jeff has been worried about what he will get all of the forumites for Christmas. I've been hoping for the Figurine of Partidge in a Pear Tree. When placed in the mouth of a dead comrade, this item restores the character to life with 1 HP.
