My group thought the first dungeon was weak, and not up to usual standards. Seems like much less thought and attention were dedicated to it. Having said that, it was still a "decent" time for me and my 5 buddies (one of which had never played before). He was so uninterested after the first run that he asked us to sell his ticket to the second dungeon (which was much better by the way). Too bad his first experience was with a weak dungeon (mediocre at the very best). We told him that one dungeon is always much better than the other and to give it a try, but he was not interested. We may not be able to convince him to play next year. Which is a shame because the game has offered us many great experiences over the years.

Someone made the comment about not being able to hear in the rooms ... I couldn't agree more! It's nice to have background music and it does set the mood, but it shouldn't get in the way of game play. Invest in better speakers ... PARTICULARLY where the audio is a vital part of the room. I'm all for immersion, but understanding what the the hell you're supposed to do in a room should trump that.

Then someone in admin or the coaching area missed at least several wheeled bags. Maybe the players carried them at first, then activated their wheeled superpowers.

I have a zuca which is wheeled and I took it through my second run. HOWEVER, I made it a point of picking it up with a hand and setting it down on the far side of the room before doing anything else. People just need to be aware of WHY wheels are prohibited.

I absolutely LOVED having to slide with my off hand due to "poison" this year...I hit roughly, but it was a neat way to show that affect.

Fortunately it only hit two of our party, but as the Barbarian...it was rough. And I still loved it.
