Yes, they are the wooden medallions from the GT this year.

Glad to hear it was a printing error!

The gear medallions are a great idea! Very cool to have a lasting effect, and "envy" item from being on the 2014 GT. :)

Thanks for creating them for the GT this year!

Also, thanks for having the GT on Wednesday. Hope it was good for training. It was very enjoyable for us. Very cool to have the return of the GT to be the "first peek" at the dungeon. It makes the GT more special.

My only complaint (being on a GT puzzle run) is I felt like we were a bit of a beta test on some of the puzzles because of course they tended to get easier as the weekend progressed. I don't really mind this either, but I wouldn't mind a guarantee of three treasure stamps on a GT run if this is the case in the future (or, even just an option to make up one missed stamp).

IMHO, TD went pretty well this year. Sure, there's always going to be some mishaps. The volunteers were great at handling them.

You've had a lot going on with doing TD and another Dwarven Forge Kickstarter plus the DF bonus additions. Plus, I felt you definitely stepped it up a notch (maybe 3 or 4 :) ) at TD this year.

The bloody sands puzzle is my son's favorite of all time, and ranks up there with my favorites as well. The Sand Beast was very cool. Whoever did the makeup this year needs some name recognition, since it was an awesome job. Especially kept looking at the makeup version of the High Priest...wow. The combat medusa (GT, and for my other combat runs) especially stood out as an actress. She really made the combat memorable. She was still doing great on Saturday (my last run). Hope to see her back next year (sans bity hair). I can't think of another time I've cheered at being backstabbed. Yay! Return of the drow matrons! Really great volunteers this year. Great coaches, great admin people. The end room ran much more smoothly. The gentleman who seemed to be in charge did a great job. Very fun having the quest for adventurer's guild members!

If there were some mess ups, you more than made up for it with cool additions this year.

Jeff Martin wrote: Apparently, there was an error with the die cut print we sent out, and one row of medallions did not print. The guys putting the stickers on did not know any difference.

Anyway, we are now printing up the missing medallions and I will send them out in about a week.

Jeff, I'm glad you were able to figure out what happened, and even more pleased there was no actual theft. Because as much as there was a feeling of disappointment at not getting to pull a medallion after the GT run, it was worse thinking that someone had taken such an advantage of your trust and generosity.

So, congrats on solving the puzzle in the final GT room ;) and I look forward eagerly to seeing what medallion shows up in my mailbox. Thank you for all you do!

LOL

Jeff finally built a GT puzzle so fiendish, it baffled himself?

Aaah, but he's clever. He used the clues and eventually located the "missing" treasure.
Now the question is: Does he get a treasure stamp for solving the room, or Push damage for taking longer than 12 mins to figure it out?

Push Damage, it was timed this year!

but then again if anyone has a token to avoid push damage it'd be Jeff!

Jeff just uses his Legendary Ring of regeneration (12 points per room) and doesn't worry about the Push damage.
NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back —
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

Oh, that would have been an awesome medallion: "Bearer ignores all push damage."

I thought Jeff's special token is 'A Good Brain.' Which is what led to Smakdown's often quoted "There will never be a token equal to A Good Brain."
