Heck, we could even just leave a random taxidermy duck in a random corner of the dungeon.

There was a decoy token in one room which we solved quickly so we had plenty of time. I warned people not to touch the duck but did not say why. Four of the players stood around the token for the rest of the time trying to talk each other into touching the duck.

They even called over the mage and told him to touch the duck but no one did. It was quite funny watching half our group arguing over it.
while (horse(state) == 'dead')

beat();

That has to be the most hilarious thing I've heard in relation to the duck tokens! :lol:
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

Well, not live ducks. Rubber ones, perhaps.

Wait, I think you are on to something sir. We COULD leave live ducks... that would sure confuse the party!

Having worked on the tear down crew, my desire for a space with four days worth of duck... uh droppings, is pretty low. :whistle:

Well it's a good thing us players don't have to deal with that part of the True Dungeon "Experience" then isn't it? ;)

So it was you guys! I spent 30 seconds trying to figure out how how to get the duck off the wand without touching it. The magnet was pretty solid and held on until I "thwacked" the wand against the table.
I finally found a use for the Crown Royal bags ... Tokens!

Might not have been us! I ran into the exact same thing much later in the day and I certainly didn't do it to myself. :silly:

Ducky, Just ducky! :P
PROUD MEMBER OF THE DDA! :)
They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to use. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to use once! Oh - and if you really need to think about whether you're going to use the fireball or the + umpty staff of butt-whooping - you're likely to find yourself full of arrows, or fangs, or nasty knives & swords and such. Don't think - just shoot!

Pretend you didn't hear that. :P

During 2013 one of the Dm's allowed us to place a duck token on the rogue box right in the middle if the puzzle line....watched as the next group came in and just groaned when the rogue looked at the box and immediately knew what the upside down token was. Also placing on in that same years rope puzzle was pretty good to......no way to not interact with that hidden duck.
Fall down......Go boom!

One of the Food Trucks had a duck dish, perhaps leave as a snack for Dms?

I totally got ducked this year:
First run of the day on Sunday morning, like 9:04am, Viper's Puzzle, the room with the floor puzzle. The dang thing was just sitting face down in the middle of the coil of rope. It was the final day of the Con, I was so tired, and apparently not thinking clearly and hey we were the first run of the day, so there couldn't have been anyone through to make mischief right? Nope... totally ducked. Had to quack through the whole thing :p

It was fun though, my first ducking.

It was really fun though last year to watch bpsymington quack through part of the GT run. :laugh:
