That could be but the numbers don't sound right to me. There are what 40 GT holders. There are approximately (definitely fewer) 100 RoSP holders is my understanding.
I would think more people with RoSP are not doing GT runs than are. I would also think that more people doing GT don't have a RoSP than those that do. Of course I don't know that either of the last two statements are true but it is what I would think the numbers to be.
Since GT are disturbed among all entire token purchasers (not evenly but semi-randomly based on amount purchased) this year. RoSP though are not distributed at that same rate. Though one could say that the GT is rarer this year 40 vs 100. RoSP theoretically took 7 years to make. We know that some parts and pieces have changed hands though (that is how I acquired mine). It took someone or several someones $7,000 in token purchases to acquire the parts theoretically. I heard that to get all but guarantee you got a GT this year you would have spent $10,000. I don't know if this number is correct, but I do know Jeff mentioned something about those that ordered $8,000 worth might be disappointed about not getting a GT. I believe one big token buyer mentioned to me at WYC spending around $24,000 and getting two. So the $10,000 sounds about right. It is the only information I have to go on. These numbers don't sound like they add up to me either though. That would mean $400,000 in token sales would acquire all the GT's or approximately 50,000 packs (if they are $8 apiece). These sound like low numbers to me but really I have no idea how many packs are sold each year.
Sorry it is really late and I got side tracked which I will often do when I get tired. I would be interested to know how many that have a GT also have a RoSP. If it is indeed most like you say then I would be interested to know how they acquired both their GT this year and RoSP. Just because I am curious.
I just realized I was assuming that those that opened their GT kept it. And I know that is not always the case. Those that have a GT are probably more likely to have a RoSP, than those that don't have a GT, I think I can safely say. If you were able to acquire a GT either through purchasing enough tokens or buying from someone else, then you probably also acquired RoSP in a similar manner. Of course there will be some that lucked into a GT and choose not to sell it. However it would be much more difficult to 'luck' into a RoSP.
A grind does sound like a good time to use it. If I cannot get a group together to do this I might burn mine on my grind.
Well if anyone is still interested in doing a Voucher run that is not doing a GT run let me know and we can see about coordinating something. I can sponsor the ticket purchase if we get 10 that can do this.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.
