TOPIC: Event details posted

Re: Event details posted 10 years 3 days ago #13

I have to figure if you don't show the Medallion of Nobility, you won't get the extra Treasure Chip. Hopefully they will have a better system in the future that lets you enter your Gencon RUBI and print out a slip with XP and number of tokens due.

I would imagine if you have your 7th-level badge holder you wouldn't need the medallion.

I believe the reasoning for allowing the 5th level item to get you the 6th level reward token is because you cant get your bonuses until after gencon. So, even if they started making a 6th level item, you wont have it at the gencon you hit 6th level.

There are a few things that worry me:
In the epilogue room, will the treasure person be distracting the players from the story to verify treasure boosting items?
I worry about my friends getting thier xp.
i dont expect any of my friends to ever get another TD level-based item unless i am allowed to order it for them and give it to them.
also, i will be able to get multiple players the 6th level bonus token, regardless of their level.
this is not a signature.

The way its currently designed you just need to have something to show, and 5th lvl token is good enough. The 7th lvl badge holder would work as well.

Clearly this causes lots of various issues with folks getting extra pulls now that don't "technically" deserve them but there isn't a great way to handle this yet. There will also be 6th lvl people that lost their medallions and won't be able to collect.

Until they come up with a better solution this will have to work for now.
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!

Kurt, I worry about the same thing. None of my friends that I do True Dungeon with ever go on the forums, and none of them ever order anything from True Dungeon. I'm worried that they won't get their XP anymore (and it is important to them), and they won't get their level reward items anymore. I wish that both were still being done at GENCON.

I hope it will be possible to get them at GenCon. I'd even cough up the $5 if necessary.

If it is important to them, I suspect they will be perfectly willing to log on to a website once a year.

If not, then I guess it wasn't that important to them. :P

I was able to edit my wife's and my XPs. My four oldest kids play and I don't know if they had ever given an email address back when they signed up, and if they did, they may not have that email account anymore. We do not know their log on passwords to this site, never need it to get XPs for them since they would just get them added at the end of the runs each year.
