Most of you likely got the link to this in the latest vol email but I thought I'd put the link here too in case anyone missed it.

Looks like the grind details are still pending and ticket price has gone up again but the new lead out rooms sound awesome. The six armed dragon thing looks wicked too. Cant wait for the 18th XD

Ugh ticket prices went up AGAIN? I thoght these were locked in for XYZ years.... le sigh. So much for telling my friends to budget for things.

The event detail states that the 6th level treasure bonus will be given to anyone displaying the 5th, 7th or 8th level item. It also states the items will be available through the TD store. Will it be possible to get these items at GenCon? I will hit 5th level after my first run this year.

My guess is it's not a dragon or dragon-type creature. The 2nd Adventure is a Snake Cult run. I'm thinking it's a snake or lizard with multiple arms. But! Either way, it looks awesome!!

I'm wondering, if they are only available from the store, if I can get items for the rest of my party if I place an order. I'm the only one that has ever bought tokens, and I'm sure that will ever buy tokens, in our group. I'd hate for everyone else to have to pay $5 just to get their award items mailed to them.

I have a few friends who balked at the price last year.

and only locked in for this year and next? if it breaks $50 I'm going to have to stop and think about runs myself. I plan and pay for 18 runs for other people and 8 runs for myself.

While reading the rewards part below in the 2014 event details I then clicked the link on the right side for the Rewards and XP. I am still confused on the Level table --> truedungeon.com/how-to-play/item/12-rewards . Is level eight 28,000 or 30,000. When looking at the top players it seems that 28,000 is the break whereas the table reads 30,000. I have 26,450 so if playing both runs on HC/NM I’ll probably make it either way, but it would be good to know for sure.

I'm wondering this too. Does this mean that the level 6 reward (one extra treasure pull) is now available at level 5?

It could be a cut and paste typo... not sure, but as they don't want to slow down getting loot, they won't be looking up your True Dungeon XP. They should make a extra loot chip for 6th level or some pin, that way they could easily identify the people getting extra loot.

Noticed that too, guess its going to be honor system.

Still almost feels like we should look at creating a lv6 treasure proof token you could order through the store next year since I imagine a lot of folks no longer have their medallion of nobility (though I do love that it now has a use).

I am guessing its a one year "patch" while they sort out how to manage this long term.

I hope that they go and overhall the database so that they can get this straighten out. I'm not sure how they have it set up, and I've not programmed in a long time, but it could be very simple to store all the data in a database using the GENCON ID as the main key.

If that was set up, and tables/variables for the adventures, with datafields for everything else then all you would need to do is set up a front end that would scan the GenCon ID, based on the year it would pull up the adventures, enter in in a few check, Adventure X, Puzzle, Room 7 and hit save, and poof updated.

That is if everything was written smoothly, you could be in and out of XP in under 30 seconds. Now treasure might take longer.
