I think you are correct Ian. I was guesstimating. When I started to run the numbers the only ratios that fit with the space shape do indeed point to about 15 or 16 feet narrower.

I watch people at cons get in lines to use the escalator rather than attempt to use stairs.

Create an actual flying ship suspended from the ceiling. With NPCs on flying wires! ( I dont think that is asking too much...)

Hanging things is a fire code issue, otherwise he prob wouldve had covers on the dungeons to prevent light/sound bleeding issues

No you've got it a bit wrong.

You can't do a ceiling that would block water falling streight down from a sprinkler.

Jeff can't touch the building but the Union people can. Stuff gets hung at gencon all the time, it just gets done by union workers.
Think about all the sinage thats gets hung.

There is great discussion about getting something to block ambient light, its just hard to come by and expensive when you do an doesn't block streight up and down light but that is more limited than you think and isn't actually ambient.

I wonder then if Jeff could do something like the hanging frames/banners/trees in this picture to create the impressing of a roof/canopy in sections without actually creating a roof that would pose a fire hazard.
