I know your massively busy with the KickStarter and i'm looking forward to the add-on packs you might have lined up... need you to give me more stuff to buy! LOL

But I was wondering if you could give us a few more hints or details about this

delay, but a few things have happened that required a fresh look at the event details for 2014.

thanks!

TD Newsletter just hit my in box

Moved Next Door to Exhibit Hall A
Gen Con Indy is a great Con, and this is very evident with the huge growth it has experienced over the past five years. They are expanding the size of Gen Con Indy again to offer even more fun, and so we are getting moved down to Exhibit Hall A -- right next door. This means that Gen Con Indy will now have the entire convention space in use to maximize everyone's fun.

We are really excited about this year's event, and we have some amazing puzzles and monsters ready to challenge you. We are bringing a new huge animatronic monster, and some of our puzzles will use high-tech electronics and special effects.

We are still working out all the final True Dungeon Event details, but we hope to have an announcement in the near future. Thanks for your patience.

44,400 Square Feet, is that last than lest year, was last year D&E? Maybe they did that so the people going to true dungeon would have to travel all the way through the other areas thus giving the other areas exposure.

My understanding from previous discussions is that Hall A is somewhat smaller than Hall B. Don't know exact numbers.

Ok so how much less spare are we talking here? I think we can do with shortening the story scape down some so the dungeon isn't impacted.

4,200 less square feet. Not sure of the dimensions but I am betting about 30 feet narrower.

Hopefully with 90% of the space as before Jeff will be able to keep the four Dungeons. I'm really looking forward to the new animatronic monster and the electronic puzzles, we'll definitely do both Dungeons this year if we're able to get tickets :)

30' is a lot of trimming but honestly last year a lot of the story scape was un-used so it could do with a trim back.

We were told 16 feet narrower during the chat at WYC.

Yes but I think this was new news, so even shorter was what I was guessing.

Unused, but not unusable. I was still hoping for a return of some version of TrueCraft, more trading/hanging out space, maybe even a fifth dungeon or newbie tutorial area? Lots of things that space could have been used for... So even holding at the same point as the audience grows is a form of shrinking.

I think you are correct Ian. I was guesstimating. When I started to run the numbers the only ratios that fit with the space shape do indeed point to about 15 or 16 feet narrower.
