I removed player sliders from crits at least twice as often as I bumped them in... but it's entirely possible that someone bribed the dog to bump *into* a crit on one occasion

What really screwed me up was when parties figured out my tactics and had someone slide a "guard rock" in the way, curling style, to prevent the dogs from running interference.

That was me, I got that from watching curling in the Olympics ;)

You weren't the only one to use that trick, but you used it well!

Now if only I was as good at curling as the Canadian women's team >.<

Ok, for 2015 we need a polymeric...

SQUIRREL!
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Thank you all for coming to WYC. It was great to see a lot of TD faces in a more replaced place. I appreciate your forgiveness for the shortcomings of the small space.

A big thanks to the Cooklees for running the mini event and to Raven and Incognito for doing another great a true Grind run.

And a big shout out to the token crew for 3 days of hectic transmutting.

Yes, I felt sorry for the guys in the token transmuting room. They had an insane job and accomplished a lot.

Some of us were discussing the hinted at Dragon before the grind. The subject of the fast Smoak board came up. One person suggested that all the dents from the d20s rolled on it over the years had probably slowed it down.

Nope.

Thanks to all the True Dungeon crew that put on this excellent event. Question: will there be more tokens to make Blink Puppies happy [a blinking bouncing Ball perhaps?]

Actually, there's a transmute in the works*

It starts with the Polymeric Duck, and uses Wands of Lightning and Scroll: Color Spray, as well as the "devalued" UR Dirtdazzy's Boots of Skipping. Add 250 GP for shipping & handling.

Just mail me all those tokens, and I'll send you a rubber bouncy ball in the mail.

*Okay... maybe not really.

That sounds ominous! It's not a Happy Fun Ball , is it?

Yep. I have been reliably informed that the Mithral Boots, Boots of Might, Boots of the X Wind and the upcoming Eldritch Boots are all much, much better choices than the Dirtdazzy boots. Apparently power creep has tuned them into nothing more than a quaint collector's item.
Oddly, no one has taken me up on my offer to take their "quaint collectors items" off their hands for free.

The supplemental "Egg" collection seems to be growing.
