In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

30001xp

28000. To confirm, look at the top players listing. There is an 8th level player with 28200 XP and a 7th level player with 27700 XP.

According to the How To Play>Rewards and XP it should be:

2nd: 1,000-2,999 XP - REWARD: Ability to enter certain special events like this year's True Grind event

3rd: 3,000-5,999 XP - REWARD: You get first pick of character class before 1st and 2nd level players. (All 3rd level+ players will roll off for order of choosing.)*

4th: 6,000-9,999 XP - No current benefit at this time.

5th: 10,000-14,999 XP - Gain title of “Lord” or “Lady” in the official TD website Forum

6th: 15,000-20,999 XP - Gain one free Treasure Chip at the end of your adventure

7th: 21,000 - 29,999 XP - Receive a specially designed True Dungeon convention badge holder

8th: 30,000 - 39,999 XP - Receive a specially designed True Dungeon label pin that touts your 8th level status

Then they programmed the XP system wrong, because when I was working the XP desk Thursday, I had three players show as hitting 8th level when they passed 28,000. A little message popped up on screen when any player gained a level.

That could be or the website could be wrong. I am just reporting what the website says. I have no knowledge which is correct.

I recall someone at one point looked over the website XP list and pointed out there was an error in it. There's some formula to use to determine how much XP each level needs (X plus Y times Previous Level or something) and the Website XP list tallied things up too high. I believe the XP computers use the correct formula.

It follows a triangle pattern. You start at Level 1 with 0XPand gain a level when you earn an additional current-level-times-1000 XP.

We did two runs thursday. At the completion of our runs, the XP system was completely down. Our past experience was lost in the system and our XP was jimmied in by I don't know who, how or what, but it was downright scary. I know my kids and I were boosted to 7th level appropriately, but our experience from True Realm did not appear to be counted. It is not the slightest surprise to me that there are bugs still in there. Please TD gods, make sure your programming and software are correct and working properly. If they aren't, and data were permanently lost, let us know so we can rebuild it accurately.

I'll have to get with True Dungeon later and get some of our XP fixed. We had two party members they were never able to find in their system, even though one of them is the #11 person on the all-time list.

I noticed on Thursday that the search functionality was not what it should be. I told the young man that want to look me up to use my username because it would be quicker. He insisted on trying my first and last name first. No find. Then he wanted to try my email address. No find. username brought me right up. I noticed our new search of players does the same thing. Name is not your name but likely your username as well (but not for everyone). While username is your profile name. Some folks have different username and profile names. Also if you click on a letter and then try to search a name it is not searching anywhere but that letter. The search is just screwy so it doesn't surprise me it was causing issues.

My understanding is that the long term goal is to use everyone's RUBI number.

That would give the potential for bar code scanning.

My name didn't show up to do XP, and the line was horrendous enough that I didn't want to distract anyone further. When I made an account on here, however, my runs from 2009 showed up immediately. I'll wait a couple more days, then e-mail to see if I can get credit for this year. I should have enough for level 3.
