TOPIC: My 2013 Review

Let me start off by saying that even tough my Con list is going to be larger than my Pro list, my post is not intended to sound negative. I had a great time at TD this year. The event just gets better and better all the time.

Pro's

The Dungeon entrances/coaching room set-ups:
Loved the flow and design. Hard to express how important this is.

Treasure boxes:
Loved what was done here. I pulled one UR and witnessed several even better pulls. I know some people are upset by what went on, but I think it was great. Maybe a sign on each box to ID them but other than that, do not change a thing



Con's:

XP Tables:
I will not dwell here since we all now that this was an epic fail. I trust Jeff et al to make this right and am choosing to be patient. I just hope it did not scare away many new players.

Story line:
I would love to see something done to help explain the story arc to people. Ideally a few themed people telling the stories would be great, but manpower is hard to come by, Maybe some signs int the entrance area and/or coaching rooms. Just a few paragraphs to help many people understand what is happening.

Treasure Chips:
Don't print treasure chip with a year on them. Just reuse them. Also make some in larger denominations. 5 and 10 should do it.

Coaching room:
Still kept running into time issues here. Need to find a way to speed it up, though I currently do not have much in the way of suggestions.

Waitlist:
(I am stealing this suggestion from elsewhere on the forums.) Waitlisters need a designated gathering area. Combine this with a hard cut-off time in the coaching room for ticketed people to show up. I witnessed a room get entirely missed on Saturday night because Waitlist people were being added even after time for them to have moved to the training room. (I felt bad for the Coaches when I pulled them aside and pointed out that at 7:50 pm the 7:03 group was still in the coaching room)
