Red Ioun Stone Query
In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

I was told at one point during the convention that TD had run out of the 'rare' Ioun Stone completion tokens. I had gotten one on Thursday, but was sad to miss out on the second. Did anyone else have a similar experience?

Yes, it seems they ran out sometime on Saturday, as our later run of Golembane they didn't have any of the Red Ioun Stones.

I worked the XP desk on the golembane sid on Sunday, and had no rare ioun stones to give out. I was told that there were more players running hardcore and nightmare than they anticipated.

The Red Belt also ran out late in the day on Sunday. We were one of the last Lycans runs on Sunday and they had just run out when we got to the XP desk. Glad to hear hardcore was popular.

I just barely got one. I did a Nightmare run on Saturday night, but had to skip out on the XP and treasure for a Hardcore run. When we finished the Hardcore run, they were out. But I ran again Sunday with the guys from my Nightmare run, and they had gotten the completion tokens for me, so I got one.

And then we got the last of the red belts on that run...

they ran out sometime between 9:15pm and 12:50am. i got my red ioun stones for the 7:15pm hardcore, but after the 10:50pm nightmare run they told us they were out. since i already had a few red ioun stones and my plan was just to use them to transmute in a couple years, i asked if we could get 2 of the green ioun stone.

I was hoping to get two so I could help equip a friend that wasn't able to run the hardcore/NM version. It was probably the best of all the completion tokens as well :(

I did a run on Hardcore with a group that was supposed to give all tokens back to me but I only have 9 so I will be trading for one. But I am spending all my trading ways until I find out about the gateway token. I may need everything I have (and more).

I'd have to look through my stuff from the con, but I should have like 3-4 extras, as I only equip myself (for now...)

I should have 5 - 7 extra's... my sons don't craft so I always get 2 - 4 extra per run. I should have Ioun stone and belt thingy. Unfortunately I had to mail back tokens so I don't have them on me today. UPS should be here tomorrow or Thursday.

Now to figure out a going rate for them...

At least one sold for approx $30 on ebay a day or so ago. I will be posting a consolidated trade thread by the weekend as I am looking for a few monster bits and some purples. I will just have to remember to stack my higher difficulty runs earlier in the Con next year :)

Since I'm looking for gold... I guess around 1,200 ($30) per?

The greens were plenty so probably do sets for 1,500 gold per set? Does that sound about right?
