In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

The Golden Apple of Eris grants the effect of an Amulet of Wonder to its owner and his entire party.

In 2013, the AoW gives the wearer a Horn of Plenty effect. Therefore, everyone in Kent's party gains the HoP effect without having to wear a HoP.

Jeff has said that if by some means (an artifact) a player is able to wear a HoP and an AoW at the same time, the effects will stack and the player will earn 6 Treasure Chip s per stamp.

Therefore, if someone in Kent's party wears a HoP, that person will earn 6 Treasure Chips per stamp.

I think all the artifacts need a laminated card with the info on it. Is it Kent's or Kurt's that gives everyone AoW affect correct? That one is going to cause a issue at the XP/Treasure desk for sure.

I believe that other party members get the double benefit if they also have the AOW/HOP. So it's a total party nightmare

Although you can remind the players several times in the training room, and the DM for the final room can even remind them as they're leaving, many players will still not have them out and ready.

When designing systems for efficiency or doing root-cause analysis to discover why something isn't flowing well, one of the best ways to solve a problem is to change the system instead of just blaming people.

My point being, is that I like the idea of using tape, or a stamp, or special punch. We can say "it only takes 2 seconds", and have several people remind players over and over again...but the problem will still exist, and we'll still be having to fight it every year, constantly. I would prefer to tweak the system to avoid the issue entirely.

I think the artifact owners should have to make kickass sculptures/real-world representations of their artifacts with the token displayed in the item.

This is a really good point, how are the number of charms in the party going to be verified at the xp desk. Trying to get 10 people to pull out their charms all at once might be a bit of a nightmare if a group isn't the most organized or using 10 charms that belong to the same person.
