In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

I didn't say it would be the only thing in that box. Also I would like to know what was in the other boxes and what kind of distro they have before committing to any box. I think UR's in the past have been about at half a percent based on my draws (last year 200 draws 1 UR). If there was a box that was at 1% UR I might spend my 300 draws to get 3 UR's versus 210-240 Monster trophies (assuming it was as high as 70 or 80 percent).....just saying. If all the trophies were in one box it would likely devalue them so I just don't know. I know higher UR's pulls would devalue them as well. It is why I am saying I don't know that I would commit to one box yet. I won't wait till Sunday to decide I know that much.

Even with other things in the box( that is what I imagined) I will still pull 75-80% out of there

I'd be happy to record my treasure pull info and add it to the data you are compiling, jedibcg. I guess we won't know all of the details on how this is working this year until the event actually starts. But for now, I'll just plan on recording the day, approx time, item received, and box pulled from for each treasure token I spend.
I make chainmail! Check out www.ArcadianChain.com for chainmail jewelry and accessories, including token holders, dice bags, and d20 keychains.

I am not certain if I will be able to record which box tokens are pulled as my group will be pulling them and just handing them over to me....unless of course what you pull is obvious to which box it is pulled from (weapons only available from one box for example). I will still attempt to get data. I am thinking maybe a google doc that anyone can access and input data but open to ideas.

Since the boxes are described as associated with "merchants" I could see some theming by item type. Maybe one for Armor, one for arms, one for wands and scroll, one for potions, a curiousity shop for monster bits.

That's what I read from the info - wouldn't that be cool? Wandering through town 'shopping.'

That is a very cool idea but I still think the curiosity shop would be much more popular. The armor and weapons may be stacked with newer players unless there is a decent UR chance. Most folks with lots of tokens don't need more weapons or armor. But a really neat idea for themed merchants.

If my memory serves me well, there was going to be a box that was heavy on healing, one on treasure, and one on trophies. This was from some of the initial discussion last year. I am sure this is subject to change.

Yes, while I don't recall the specifics, the general feeling I got was that the different boxes would merely be tilted towards whatever the "merchant" was. I suspect the boxes for the adventures proper would be particularly heavy in monster trophies. There might be a chapel where the box is heavy on healing items, and/or things geared more towards cleric/paladin/druid. Perhaps an arcanist shop that has more than usual percentage of scrolls and wizard/bard stuff.

Dunno. That's just the feeling I had. Besides, even if this is how it will be, who knows how much the boxes would be leaning towards their specialty.

Oh, and between my teammate and myself we could have up to 115 pulls, so I'll try to record those for you.

Yes, scratch the curiosity shop idea. Maybe all boxes have the monster bits, but each box is specialized as to the other kind of items found in it. Though if one of the boxes is heavy on healing that would be pretty popular too.
