In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

I have to admit - I don't remember anything about a heart condition, but then again, that's why I'm re-reading it ;)

The PDF that Jeff posted was only part of the story. The novel that was released was a much larger story.
You don't have to outrun the monster, just the guy next to you - The buddy system.

Just imagine how hard it would be to hit the outline of a chipmunk on a sliding board...

All I can see is the first use of a swarm, as swarm of cute little chipmunks....aaaahhhhhh!

3 words... Horn of Blasting

2 Words... Lightning storm. If 30 points of damage to all targets leaves any of them standing... Time to run.

1 word... Fireball. Same as above.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Thanks much for the head's up! I guess I'm not going crazy after all... I will definitely have to download the full version then.

Hey All! I just wanted to chime in and say thanks to Jeff for giving me the chance to write The Path of Stone. I had a great time with it and I appreciate all of the sold copies, reviews and comments! If a horde of Undead Were-Munks doesn't make it into the dungeons somewhere, I'm gonna be mad!

Anyway, I wanted to say, in answer to a few comments here and elsewhere, that there will be a limited number of signed paperback copies of The Path of Stone available at the con. A link to buy the regular unsigned edition will be made available as well.

Thanks again all! I think we're all going to have a lot of fun this year. :)

I just finished the book and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was very interesting how the story folded together. This is definitely not like the other combat books I have read, this is truly all about the story. I hope there will be another one.

Seriously, this is going to make my plane ride to GenCon a lot better!!!

Sounds like others are having issues reading the digital version of this, I use the Kindle app on my iphone and it works pretty good! ;o)

Had to find a way to view it on my nook, but I quite enjoyed the book once I did. Would love to see some more books, especially if they covered the previous years...would like to know what happened before the first time I went to GenCon.

Paperback Huzzah! Where will you be set up, at TD or in the Exhibit Hall?

Thanks all! I know the Nook readers were a little left out here, but I had to commit to one or the other initially, so I really am sorry for the inconvenience.

I don't really know where they'll be yet, and I'd have to defer to Jeff to answer definitively, however, my guess is that they'll be with TD and not in the exhibit hall.

We'll see you all there!
