In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

How much from the novel do you think we will see in the dungeon? Seemed much more informative for Golembane than Lycans.

Any views on the importance of Anti-Darkrift energy gear?

Any chance of an .epub version for those of us with a Nook instead of a Kindle?

Or undead protection gear? I can't help thinking someone may have gone that way.

I also wonder if items that deal darkrift damage might be counter productive in some instances.

Besides a few glitches with quotations (and I am not a professional writer so it was just barely noticeable), it was a fine read.

Of the clues within, I think the information focuses on our foe, not this year, but either 2014 or 2015. The key piece of information we gleaned was his weak spot, his "heart condition."

I agree that there may be a need for Anti-darkrift for the assault on the Tower and I am now very afraid of chipmunks. Perhaps even were-munks.

It also give us clues to what will be happening in 2014 and why the power of the Amulet of Wonder for that year may be crucial as we are probably going to be taking on the Zephyr at some point.

So if you are clue-junky, TD-aholic, like myself, it's a good buy. If you are a fan of Fantasy - it's fair as it makes more sense if you have been involved with TD last year.

The book itself was a fun fast read and the story was nice. I would give it about 2.5 stars out of five but only because I am a True Dungeon fan. I doubt it will have much appeal outside of the TD community. The writing needs some polishing and another pass by the editor would have been very helpful.

As to the clues, the book is a must read. It certainly gives us some nice information on our upcoming enemy. From what I can gather these are key points.

1. We are not done with dark rift energy.
2. We are most likely not done with undead.
3. Self healing monsters are going to show up. (knew that from the tokens though)
4. Another ax might become very important.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

Just imagine how hard it would be to hit the outline of a chipmunk on a sliding board...

I did it the old fashioned way I suppose - printed out the .pdf file and read the hard copy. I enjoyed it and am reading it a 2nd time to see about finding more clues.

I have to admit - I don't remember anything about a heart condition, but then again, that's why I'm re-reading it ;)
