In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

TOPIC: Noob saying hello.

There is no mechanism for voting a player out. But if a player won't stop being obstreperous, talk to the DM and if necessary, ask the DM to contact a director.

If the player crosses the line into harassment, their sorry ass will get the boot. Again, talk to the DM/director about that.

Oh, and do shop around. What someone might trade for 100 GP another might sell for 50 GP. Like I said, shop around. Remember to haggle. I love it when people haggle :)

Rafiq is quite correct - I meant no slight to the other very awesome traders - George was just the first example to come to mind. Yes and yes again Rafiq - true haggle should be a new ingame event! :silly:

They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to use. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to use once! Oh - and if you really need to think about whether you're going to use the fireball or the + umpty staff of butt-whooping - you're likely to find yourself full of arrows, or fangs, or nasty knives & swords and such. Don't think - just shoot!

Derek Guder (the guy who does all the GC events lists) tweeted a link to this, and I feel it needs to be read:

Its about harassment, not a noob saying hello.

Thank you for this. I hope that Jared's brave words are heard by many.

He's right that the most important thing that anyone (both women and men) can do about harassment is to talk about it. Make it clear in conversations that respecting all people and treating them as such (and I include inappropriate comments in the same vein as groping - neither are welcome or signifiers of respect) is the only acceptable behavior at cons or anywhere.

The silence has been deafening around issues of harassment for too long. Yes, back in the nineties it became silly and cliche. Now is the time to take it seriously and to change the culture of cons, gaming, and our society.

What are you doing to bring about this change?

Thanks.
Blessings to you,
