In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

TOPIC: Another First Timer

Since we have areas on the party card to mark if they wore their items the entire dungeon this could work well. They would hand the XP desk their card, the person there would match up the card to the party card info and hand out the tokens. Calculation would only be needed if the person took off an item for a room.

Other than "hand" items like weapons & shields, you aren't able to take an item off for a room anymore I believe. All the other slots are locked in for the duration of the adventure.

Another thing that could help if there was a 5 treasure token to speed up handing them out but would also mean that there would have to be change given at treasure pull stations which would hinder the process.

Another thing would be to make a mock up for each station that has a tube that when filled would have 10 tokens one that when filled would have 5 and that way the person that is there would be able to dump out 10 tokens fast and have someone filling the 5 and 10 person tubes to assit

But you don't know how many treasure stamps they have until they exit... Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean.

That is why a card and not just a number on the party sheet.

0 =
1 =
2 =
3 =

With the indicated amount after each number of stamps. Hand it in, xp person looks at card, cross references with number of stamps and done.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

Did XP people refer to the party card to confirm the wearing of HoP, Ro$, etc.?

The XP clerk usually would check the Party Card and then have you show the token in my experience.

Maybe coaches could remind people in the coaches' room as they are checking off the party card boxes for Ro$, AoW, HoP, "Please keep these out when you go to the exit room - it will help speed up the XP process."

Want to thank everyone for all the insight shared in this thread on multiple topics. I'm all set for 2 puzzle solving runs on Saturday (4 hours apart to make sure there is plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere, get xp, get treasure pulls, and prep for runs.) I'm all "redded up" including the +1 save ioun stone guantlets of ogre power, and gauntlets of fire.

Hoping I can find my groups via group forums so that I can figure out which gear to fill in the holes. (Or I can just hope I pull gear to fill holes.)

It's part of coach training, but we're all human and sometimes forget.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

This was in the XP Desk Guide the last couple years:

Each station was supposed to have it printed out. I can't recall one way or the other if that happened though. Can anyone who worked the XP Desk confirm or deny its presence?

The Charm of Good Fortune is going to make calculating the correct amount of Treasure Chips to distribute a LOT more complicated. I don't think a simple table like this will suffice.

Since the charms work independently of HOP/AOW and ROR, perhaps two charts. One for the HOP and ROR combos and a second for CoGF. Add the two results and off you go.

I have some interest in this as I am working the XP table Thursday night. (So be gentle with a first time volunteer :) )
