In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

Several deaths, much more so in early years.

Recently?

---> Killed by George (a party member, wilingly turned to the dark side) in Grind.

and don't think I've forgotten it, George >.<

I think I've only ever died in the final room, TPK way.

I've only ever died to Smoak--got toasted by Smoak 1.0, and I think I died once in my 3-4 runs with Smoak 2.0. We didn't solve the first Smoak puzzle room, either (which I guess counts as a death). I've not died otherwise (although we've had other party deaths occasionally).

I'm really looking forward to this year, too!

Screw the cookies. The dark side was offering Treasure Tokens!

(Okay, I would totally have turned, too, given the choice.)

I have only ever died on final puzzle rooms....in fact I die on them quite often. Axe room, hands from a bowl, Drow queens and math puzzles that still hurt my head, rings on hands that don't exist all of them have killed me dead. Yea, never died on a combat in either Nightmare or normal. I thought Smoak 1.0 was just the right difficulty and Smoak 2.0 was wayyyyyy too easy. Oh, I did die last year in grind for the first time. Yes, bloody. Also, beat it but tried it again on nightmare and got crushed.

They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to use. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to use once! Oh - and if you really need to think about whether you're going to use the fireball or the + umpty staff of butt-whooping - you're likely to find yourself full of arrows, or fangs, or nasty knives & swords and such. Don't think - just shoot!
