In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

I want to make a flow-chart that walks through the process of determining how many treasure chips a person would get, based on all* possible treasure enhancing token permutations.

This is the rough draft (pdf). Would y'all mind checking my math? I'm too bug-eyed at this point to view it objectively.

The visuals will be gussied-up later. All I need to verify at this point is mathematical accuracy and if I left anything out.

Thanks in advance! :)

*This version does not account for players 6th-level and over. That will be added later.

I only see one error:

Following the tree: Is the player wearing CoGF? NO > Wearing HoP? YES > Wearing Ring of Riches? ... there is only a NO option, not a YES option.

I checked it also, same conclusion as Raven. This got me excited to start pulling some treasure! Thanks Druegar

The path above (CoGF = No) && (Hop = Yes) && (RoR = No) is missing the Yes as stated. Also the RoR = No portion numbers are for a RoR = Yes.

To correct this you need to add a table under the RoR option for the RoR = Yes and put the numbers 3/6/9/12 and then change the no to 0/3/6/9.

Oh and I verified that the math on all other boxes are correct :)

And started viewing it as a four flag equation... hate my mind sometimes!

Good catch, Alvin. I hadn't even noticed that the values were for "yes", just that the tree was missing a branch.

I do think that this is chart is for generic treasure, and not the edge case scenarios out there from Artifacts and such :)

I do have a question: Is this document for the people passing out treasure tokens to follow? If so it would be so much easier for them to go down a simple checklist.

RoR = Yes - Put 3 treasure tokens in pile.

CoGF = Yes - How many in party?
1-5 - put 2 treasure tokens in pile.
6-9 - put 3 treasure tokens in pile.
10 - put 4 treasure tokens in pile.

HoP = Yes - put 3 tokens per stamp in pile.
HoP = No - put 1 token per stamp in pile.

Done - hand pile to person.

I would also say to have a little tote or bin to put all the completion tokens and treasure as they go through the checklist and then hand the bin to empty it out after it has been tallied.

I see no need to make a separate listing for something that says it duplicates the HoP effect--it's the same thing as HoP. To me that would make things needlessly confusing. That said, I can throw in somewhere "HoP or an HoP-like effect".

Artifact owners will need to present their tokens and deal with them on a case-by-case basis. There may be something in place this year that will detail precisely what each artifact's powers are in an authoritative way.

This flow chart is being developed as one of several tools people working the XP Desk will have in their arsenal to verify token distribution. It seems like some of the more "green" volunteers tend get assigned to the XP Desk. Determining the correct amount of Treasure Chips earned became a lot more complicated this year. I wanted to help those folks out in whatever way I can. Some people work better with plain text, others work better visually.

Thank you for being my other pairs of eyes!
Version 2
Does that fix all the (non-deliberate) omissions and errors?

I was more talking about the link. It took me to the token data base. Looked like all tokens there were treasure adding tokens. Kubus was missing. Sorry. I should have
