In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

Just had a diabolical thought. Has anyone who has any of the new silver tokens have magnetic cores. There was some talk on the forms this year about hiding magnets under the combat boards to mess with the token slides in creative ways and different metal in this year's cores would be a heck of a twist.

Interesting, but if Tinker Braclet protects from this, how would that work? Can't exactly remove the magnets for some players and not others.

That is a proposition that could be tested with a simple magnet at home.

I was imagining an effect more like ferrous metal weapons sticking to the construct and becoming unusable for the rest of the combat.

If an electromagnet was used it could be turned on and off, but that just seems way too complex.

Shirt of health keeps this from becoming an issue. At least for lycanthropy.

I often play the Elf Wizard. Therefore, my character ought to already be able to read and speak fey, right?

I would suggest searching the TDb for your key terms.

Amulet of the Tinkerer and Oil of the Tinkerer both allow you to crit (and potentially sneak attack) Constructs.
All these weapons deal extra damage to Constructs.
Shield of the Tinkerer gives a bonus to AC vs. Constructs.

All these weapons deal extra damage to Fae.
Faerie-Iron Armor and Faerie-Iron Shield both give a bonus to AC vs. Fae.
Scroll Comprehend Languages allows you to understand & read Fae, as well as any other language.

Currently no tokens give any kind of bonus when dealing with Gnomes.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Thank you very much Druegar. Looks like, as Rogue, I am out in the cold weapon-wise, lol.

Man, it's almost like someone who really loves TD put together a totally sweet program about it.

That said, I'm going with my original comment from token design that the Tinker Bracelet seems to be about people wearing metal armor getting held down to the floor or similar in a room - this is backed up by the additional freedom of movement items.

Clearly there will be some electrical damage and, potentially, a "forge-style" room either metal weapons will become too hot to hold or you have to pick up a hot item.

The special item to become immune to Maze and Confusion points to needing very high will saves this year.

Elves (in D&D) don't speak Fey/Sylvan. They speak Elven. So... probably no freebies there. OMG does this mean Scroll of Comprehend Language has a use this year?!?

Hey Druegar - Couple database things:

1. +1 Gnomish Throwing Hammer didn't show up on that Construct search page you linked (which is weird because its description clearly says Construct).

2. Is the listing of the +1 Gnomish Throwing Hammer as a silver weapon correct?
