I think I have purchased a lot of tokens this year. Granted, what I consider "a lot" may not be nearly as much as some folks who read this board, so that's why I'm asking. Out of all the packs I have opened, I have seen exactly zero Winter Runestones. I have several duplicates of all the other seasonal runestones (aka, the Rare ones), but nada on the chilly ones. Has anyone else experienced this or did I just get "lucky"?
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

first of all, odds/distribution/randomness is weird that way.

that being said, my split seemed to be fairly even. =|

Out of my 120 packs, I received 2 Autumn runestones, 1 (platinum) Spring runestone, 1 Summer runestone, and 1 Winter runestone. Depending on how many packs you bought, I don't think it's unlikely you didn't find one type.

It's pretty normal to get lots of some tokens and few or none of others. I opened a LOT of tokens and didn't get a single Ring of Shock Resistance, for example.

Mike speaks the truth. I didn't get a single Ring of Feather Fall or Commander's Lorica Segmenta in my packs.

I noticed really lopsided rarity in my Platinum distribution. None of several, and big stacks of a few. Despite buying several thousand dollars worth of tokens in each of the past three years, I have never gotten a full set of Rare Platinum tokens without trading to fill in the gaps.

Given a big enough sample, I think the distribution does tend to even out. I didn't notice any Runestones being any rarer than the others. But it's basically a property of random distributions that you'll sometimes have gaps in one place and multiples elsewhere.
How many packs did you open? From this number I can calculate the probability of your event occuring. It might be small, but it will always be finite, and therefore, will happend to somebody.

Jim

People naturally underestimate the power of randomness in something like this. You would have to buy a wheelbarrow load of tokens to push the statistical chance of not getting a single rare to significance.
