<br /><br />Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and corrections.  Please feel free to provide any additional feedback.<br /><br />Clarifying note: Thinking through the issue with ammunition tokens and single-use projectile tokens, I decided to limit the Generator file to tokens whose effects last the entire adventure as opposed to a single room or round (hence the inclusion of runestones and scroll mage armor).  For that reason, tokens such as Thunderstone were now removed from the Projectile category.  This keeps to the spirit of the sheet which is to equip for the entire adventure.  I'm definitely still open to further discussion on the merits of their inclusion, but for now I've removed them.

Love the new updated version, but I must confess while I see the Scepter of the Strige, I do not see the Morningstar nor the +1 Orc Horn Shortbow in the list.  Since I noticed you were using ranges in your formula I was little worried about adding them myself.<br /><br />Also shouldn't the seasonal (winter, spring, etc.) runestones add +1 to Damage in the Melee Damage Column.

<br /><br />I debated about mentioning this also.  There is a note that says +1 damage and it shows up in the player card summary as a noet, but it is not reflected in the melee damage bonus.  At TR, some (most?) coaches were simply adding it in to the melee damage bonus.<br /><br />From a player perspective, while adding it in is not technically correct, I have a feeling I will actually get credit for using the runestone.  At TR, I used a runestone on most of my dungeon runs and where it was a note, I had to constantly remind the room DM to add the damage in.  Even with the reminders, I think it was ommitted several times.  <br /><br />From a DM prespective (please chime in here) it seems to me, one less thing you have to worry about.  For the cases where it matters (monster immune to a particular type of damage), the note can still be used, except in this case to subtract one from the damage.  Only the particular room DM has to worry about it.<br /><br />We propably need a ruling from Jeff; though my vote would be to simply count it as an extra plus in the damage bonus section of the player card.

I'll be happy to add the Morningstar and +1 Orc Horn Shortbow.  The Scepter was only remembered over the other two because we actually lucked into pulling one from the treasure box at TR. By the way, the ranges are dynamically built so any additions to the Token Data sheet will be reflected on the Character Sheets and beyond.<br /><br />I would definitely need an official ruling before I would feel comfortable adding in specific damage types into the primary Damage modifiers instead of a simple notation.  I was not aware that some of the coaches were adding it in as if it were standard damage (I know for certain we weren't all doing it).  This would definitely have come into play even at TR since one of the damage types would actually have healed a monster type as opposed to just immunity (*** avoiding spoilers ***).  As a compromise, until or unless instructed officially to include, I have added the notation in the party card's Melee Damage box in the newest version (see next post).  Hopefully this will be an acceptable adjustment.<br /><br />Thanks again for the feedback.

I understand why it is nice to have people editing the file for themselves, but at the end of the day, multiple versions of this file in circulation will lead to chaos and misunderstanding. Can I suggest that one person be the holder of the official "New Character Generator File" and this one contain all of the corrections, revisions and updates, and everyone look to that person or a specific place for the correct up to date file? This is a great tool, but having multiple forms of it floating through this forum does not sound like a good idea to me.

It shouldn't much matter. People are just using it for themselves. It's not like there's any real reason it needs to be uniform.

I would agree, Dis Bee Leaf.  We don't need multiple copies of the file being distributed.  The only custom edits that should be needed would be for unique items (like the person who lucked into a +3 from the deck of many things) and these should be done only for personal use, not redistributed  I plan to maintain the *official* copy and would recommend that people exclusively use my most recently updated copy as the base for their character generating.  Particularly since the player card could be brought in to expedite the coaching process (as some have done in the past with the file's predecessor).

I'll double check to make sure I have the newest version but the Masterwork Spear is listing as a 2handed when its only 1. <br />Also its a compound weapon so that means all str adjusting items will work for damage but not attack, which it doesn't seem to be adjusting for.  Just fyi there are other compound weapons, 5 that I know of that would need to be adjusted in the same manor.<br /><br /><br />This is really awsome by the way!

What's a compound weapon? As far as I know, there's no such distinction in TD. Even hurled hand weapons (of which the MS isn't one) woudln't work that way.
