TOPIC: Previously 00 Pack Discussion - Now Otter Run!

<br />Here's the question, if you order a 100(120) pack all as one, are you guaranteed a 00 pack in the order, or is it still completely random?<br />

<br /><br />I've only my own experience to go on, but last year I ended up buying 95 packs (3 orders of (25+5) and five packs at Gen Con) without opening any URs.  This year I got the (100+20) order and found one UR.  Statistically speaking, at one every 100, I should have found 2 by now.  So, I'd say it's possible to open 100 packs without finding any URs, but buying the 120 packs at once may increase your chances of finding at least one (depending on how they are distributed across the print run).

this is how i perceive it.<br /><br />take 99 packs and add one 00 pack, put them in a basket and shake.<br /><br />do this twice or how ever many times needed.<br /><br />start pulling out orders as they come in. <br /><br />this gives the chance of two "00" in a row or 198 packs without.<br />

Jeff posted last year that you were going to get a 00 pull in a 100 purchase.  It was pretty much written up as a guarantee.<br /><br />Not sure what the wording said this year....but I think it was still the same.<br /><br /><br /><br />

<br />I put in a $250 order this year... got my PYP, but no double-aught. I can't complain though... I am really happy with the tokens this year all around... also, got my hands on a keen axe at True Realm- so I am happy.<br />

Yeah, last year at least the 00 packs were inserted every 100 packs, so if you got the 120 pack deal you would get one 00 pack with a slim chance at a second.

<br />Shame only one of any character class is allowed per run (otherwise there would be parties of only Druids and Clerics).

Screw it. Lets just do the otter run this year. We just need 8 of these and we're good to go. It'd be lotsa fun.
