TOPIC: 2009 Tokens are ALMOST SOLD OUT!

<br />Ordering merchandise is one of the trickiest things to do.  There are so many variables that come into play.  Don't beat yourself up over under ordering.  I think most people in the current economic climate would have done the same thing.  That's really crummy though how they changed the factory minimums.  I wonder how much the change has cost them in business.<br /><br />Kim<br />

<br /><br />you know, thats a good point.  the company may not realize how much business they are losing.  not that i would expect it to change anything in the immediate future, but maybe you could at least inform the company of how much more you would like to have ordered for a second run if thier minimums didnt prevent it.  if you are lucky, they may let you get away with a second smaller order, worst case is they are at least aware of how much more business they could have done had they had a different policy.<br />

It never hurts to have a clear and direct discussion with the factory sales guy. If he gets a commission, he will push for you. If you talk to the managers, they will help you if business is slow. Either way, communication is always good.

Thanks for the suggestions.  Believe me...I have tried.  We are already much below the normal "minimum" level, but they keep doing our small orders as a favor to Peter (who has bought huge amounts of chips in the past).  Like I said before, we owe a lot to Peter! 

Another thought is that if you have a surplus of tokens in a particular year. You can offer them into the next year. As long as they are not opened and the potential for ultra rares is still present, it becomes a choice on how well you like the tokens from one year as opposed to another. My guess is there are people who would still buy unopened packets of older tokens.

Mine are in the mail, maybe they will get here today...maybe tomorrow.  I got notice they shipped Monday night.  I think my husband would be sitting out by the mailbox if I would let him.

It might make sense to keep the visual for the entire list of 2008 tokens posted on the token page if it isnt there like it was in 2008.

<br /><br />When my brother gets back Monday from Aussieland, I will ask him to update the page so it says what the current offer will be.  By that time it will probably say we are sold out of 2009 tokens, but you can still order 2008 tokens (and choose any '08 or '09 UR except the AoW).<br /><br />I can't change it until then.
