TOPIC: Re: Completion items and AoW Medallions

Our group only got the goblet. I would think the ring would only be for those that completed normal and those that failed at nightmare (if used as a consolation)

I would suspect that DC items are GONE...we should see something new for the 2009 prizes...IF planning and token production was in synch!

If DC stuff does come back, that is cool...either way all pretty pretty loot to me!

Fudge.

One of the obnoxious things about not fully unpacking after a trip is you never realize you lost something until weeks after. I just went through my tokens and can't find my harpy claw amulet. *grumble* I'm pretty sure that a goblet of healing got futz'ed too, but at least I had a spare there.

So when/how do you use the AoW to get the goodies?
So when/how do you use the AoW to get the goodies?

You show it to the player coach when gearing up, and they record it as occupying your neck slot, and hand you the "new" token ( you put your AoW away then)

Ugh...losing tokens is such a frustrating thing. I somehow lost my Fairie-Iron shield at the event. Fortunately, I have a back up of it, but the thought that one of the tougher to come by tokens would go poof is more than enough to make me take pause.

I think it had been mentioned before that the Harpy Claw and Oak Medallion might not make it to Saturday at Gencon due to a low supply of them.

Kim

Ya, which is making me *frumple*. I guess it serves me right for being satisfied with only trying to get one of everything instead of multiples of each just to forestall such an event.
Yes, that sounds about right.

The Censor and the Goblet with only for those who completed Nightmare. Anyone who participated in Nightmare also received the corresponding "Normal" token (Runestone or Ring) even if they did not survive Nightmare. I am not sure if those who did Normal and died still got their token. (But from Nightmare's perspective, the Runestone/Ring were more "participation" prizes rather than "completion" prizes.

Hm. I made it to room 7 on nightmare (2003) but don't recall receiving the "normal" item for making it that far.

Did you make it TO room 7, or THROUGH room 7?

Memory is foggy, but, I think it's coming back to me now. The final run I did was a Nightmare and we did solve Room 7 with everyone alive, so we probably all received both tokens, but I'm not sure about the tokens.
My first run through was normal and we made it to room seven but no one surived.

We only got the one token surviving Nightmare Our first party member to check out got both, but then they said that was wrong and gave the rest of us just the one token.
