Looks good to me. Although, didn't the Ring of Three Wishes also have a Pentagram Back?

Yep, that was from the same year as the Ring of Regen, so the Ro3W should have a Pentagram back. I've never seen one for sale or trade, though, so I forgot to mention it.

I think it's too much of a generalization to say that "woodies are very valuable and collectible". A lot of folks who aren't hard core collectors believe that, and it's really not true in every case. By 2006 the market was absolutely flooded with "Woodies", mostly with a spider back. Most collectors were already buying in bulk that year. I would say that the guidelines are more like this:

2006 Spider-back woodies will only fetch a premium in trade if they are Red and not available as chips, or Purple. And that really only holds true if they have not been superceded by a better token in the years since (i.e. a Purp Ring of Protection +1 is an oddity for a collection that holds little more value than a Red chippie RoP+1). Many Purp Woodies (like Short Sword +2 or Great Sword +2) have been replaced by clearly better Purp chips like Nightshade's Short Sword or the Holy Great Sword. And Purp consumables are never going to be worth all that much, though some collectors may still want them.

2005b Wind/Dragon/Rat-back (the one with the roundish blob symbol) also had pretty heavy market penetration. Those are generally only valuable if Red or Purp and not printed since or superceded, much like the Spider-back tokens. Purps with this back may be considered misprints, since most Purps that year used .com backs (if I remember correctly).

2005a Wind-back is much rarer and may command a greater trade value, at any rarity. I don't think any Purps exist with this back.

2004 Broken Pentagram back is quite rare and highly collectible. The Ring of Regen is the only Purp with the Pentagram back. Reds with this back are highly desirable, even if they have since been reprinted or superceded. I think this run contains some of the non-damage-wheel weapons that are very collectible. Even many Greens and Commons from this year will be good trade fodder, since few collectors have a full set of anything going this far back.

2003 No Symbol. There are no Purps, but the Reds from this run are very valuable, since very few are in circulation. Anything that hasn't been re-printed recently (like Hourglass of Answers) would probably trade for a modern Purple. Even the Greens and Commons are pretty hard to find, though you can't expect them to trade for Purps, though someone completing a set will likely trade you a modern Red or two for a couple of 03 Commons.

Most collectors who care about woodies are looking for 2003-2005a, and probably don't need 2005b-2006. It's important to make a distinction if you are trading/selling woodies. Also, because the 03-05a tokens may be highly sought after, it's important to see what you have before trading in the old wood in bulk.

Thanks for the most clear description on this subject that I have ever seen. This should be posted somewhere more prominent.
