TOPIC: true arena question

I'm still sorta pissed about 2nd place being a sapphire necklace.<br /><br />*frumple* <br /><br />

Hmmmm, I'd be kind of sad if True Arena went away. I thought one of the nice things about True Arena was that it was another way you could use your tokens (aside from going on an actual run). I suppose True Realm and True Grind provide an alternative, but I thought it was great that you could get some extra mileage out of your tokens.<br /><br />The challenge with the group battle concept, is that if you allow tokens, it would greatly magnify any existing disparities. Obviously, you would want group members who also have lots of good tokens. So Purp masters will seek other Purp masters. While the difference between one Purped out player vs one Red player is minimal in True Arena, I would imagine a group of 8 Purped out players vs 8 Red players would be significantly more unbalanced. Which seems to indicate the best approach would be no outside tokens, or random groups, neither of which seems especially appealing.<br /><br />So here's to hoping that True Arena sticks around for a bit longer!    =)

<br />Skill has a lot to do with it. Most of the time I was up against a person who had better armor than me, but armor does not beat multiple 20s. I won Grand Champion in 2008 and would like to see True Arena go on as is. It is a very fun game and one of the few that is for the individual.<br /><br />It would be hard to build teams. If you have a team of 7 and can't find another how is it fair to go up against a team of 8? I'm not really bias against teams, because even though I won last year, I could do poorly this year. I won one quarterfinal and my team would consist of my two friends and my son, of which all won the three other quarter final rounds. <br />

Not only one year but every year since it started. <br /><br />I would also hate to see TA get tossed like yesterdays newspaper. I have had so many good memories and fun times with this exclusive event. Not to mention all the purps in my arsenal that I won in this cherished gem. No way would I ever be able to sell or trade any of these away. If by chance it does go bye bye. I will always to be able to put a shine on my wonderful plaque. Yes,yes...I have the award ceremony pic. as my screensaver still. Thank you Jeff and Fritz. 

<br />A quick story of last TA.  I was against a much better geared fellow and on the 3rd round he blinded me for the rest of the match.  I slid like that to an outcome of him winning with 0 hp to my -4.  <br />

Your not supposed to shoot better after getting blinded. I should have left your eyes alone! LOL!!<br /><br />*Note to self, Lawful gladiators are no Fun*
