TOPIC: Trade Items - update

To All, <br />I have the new trade items in hand, so reserve and trade items can be traded for at any time.  <br /><br />1. I will be contacting the people with vouchers for Dwarven Steel to identify preference for getting those tokens out soon.  (Specifically do you want them mailed or pick them up at True Realm)<br /><br />2. I am not confident about my ability to get trades back out in the mail to you before True Realm (other than the three people who have already sent stuff to me) so unless you do not care when you get your trade items back (i.e., sometime after True Realm), you may want to consider sending me your trades and requesting to pick the tokens up at True Realm, or bring your trades to True Realm to trade there.<br /><br />Dave

Unless I missed this somewhere, do we know for sure which 2009 tokens count as gear or miscellaneous?  Most seem pretty obvious, but I hate to assume anything.

i'm sorry if i missed this, but are the trade items different from last year? i see that the names are very similiar. would it mean that they would be interchangeable in later combo recipes?

I think the new ones are:<br /><br />For 25 of any rare Armorb and/or Weapona - Extraordinary Aragonite<br /><br />For 25 unitsc of any gear and/or itemd - Durable Darkwood Billets<br /><br />For 25 unitsc of any scroll - Mysterious Alchemist's Parchment<br /><br /><br />Other than that, what I noticed was that what was put on the forum in text way back was slightly different than the actual trade item tokens (the first year).<br />My guess is that the text sounded good but was too lengthy to fit on the token.<br /><br />

Sorry, literary license on the token descriptions.<br /><br />The trade items should be the same token for any item from year to year.  The list may, and has expanded to include additional items, but like the Reserve bars for gold, there is no year marking, and the intent is to provide a "yearless" format for trading from year to year.  So yes, the names in my descriptions are a bit different, but that was merely to have something flowery for the description, not to indicate the name had changed. <br /><br />The tokens are and remain:<br />Dwarven Steel, Minotaur Hide, Elven Bismuth, Oil of Enchantment, Darlwood Billets, Aragonite, and Alchemist's Parchment.<br /><br />Dave
