TOPIC: 2009 Combo Items?

I know it's still a bit early, but when will the Combo Items (and their ingredient lists) be released?<br /><br />Presumably, there will probably be a Trade Item trade-in at True Realm (there will probably be especially high demand for the gear and scroll trade items). It would be extremely helpful if the ingredient lists would be made available before True Realm so that people don't end up trading in tokens that they will need later to make combo items. I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to push Dave too far right after the holidays.  <br />I just completed (with my wife's generous help) sorting, stacking, and counting my tokens.  I pulled out enough gear to do runs with.  I then pulled out enough tokens to obtain one or two each of the previous and future trade items mentioned thus far.  I, too, was wondering about the combos.  I sure hope I didn't give up too many of any one particular item (50 Hammer and Spike tokens for instance) that I can't complete combos.  <br /><br />

John, if Secret Santa sent you a PLAT set, I'll bet you won't have any trouble getting a couple of hammers  =D

I will talk to Jeff and we will get the combo list out before True Realm.  Keep in mind there will be no trading for the traditional combo tokens at True Realm.  <br /><br />We will trade for trade items and the two new "combos" based on Trade ingredients at True Realm, but the next three true combo tokens will be available at the GenCon event.<br /><br />Dave

<br /><br />Hmm, this got me thinking. Are the 2008 ingredients going to be available in the DC dungeon at true realm? or are "they gone forever"? I didn't manage to draw any at Gen-Con and was hoping to do so at true realm instead.

<br /><br />The Ingredient tokens from Indy '08 will be available at TD:DC '09.  And there will even be new Ingredient tokens available at TD:Retro at True Realm -- and then again at Gen Con Indy '09 as we run that same Retro adventure again.
