yah. Go luckstone.

Just think about how much angst you could have spared if you went with it originally :P.

The reroll 1's just makes it extra spiffy. Certainly it should be a good must-have for the purped out.

Just a thought, you might want to rewrite the cestus description. It doesn't mean that the wielder is -2 to AC, right? That's the impression you get reading it.

I'm also sort of happy about the cestus. I was going to argue for not letting the monk have it but decided it just wasn't worth the effort of arguing it. Turns out, it got there all on its own without my interference anyway. Sacrficing 1 point of damage to deal a -2 AC hit is still huge though. It's not much of a sac' really compared to the gain for the group as a whole.

New boots picture - great!
New cap picture - great!
New charm - good enough! Like the re-roll
New sword - purp worthy but not as interesting. Good enough.
Cestus - suggest rewording to "A hit monster is -2 to AC"

Does re-roll also mean slide? So essentially the Charm works on really bad slides and really bad Save rolls?

"Did you see that twitch?!?" *flog* "Gee, I thought it was still moving." =D Thanks Jeff for bearing with us through this process...

I think all the new pics look good. I like the re-roll a "one" on the luck charm... I was hoping for the "crit extension" that I had posted about before, but I do like the charm better as a "luckstone". I also like the change on the Cestus. My last two comments are nit-picks, so feel free to ignore...

1. Glows. The glow on the Slayer sword is, um, lillac... a bit lighter than the other "purp" glow weapons. I was thinking the luck charm could use a green glow, similar to the druid's circlet... or would that make it too Irish/Celtic in flavor?

2. I would just call the Slayer Sword a "+2 Bastard Sword" and leave it at that... and make sure the damage wheel reflects it (which it might already). I think I mentioned before that if we did make this the "official" +2 Bastard Sword, and it was assigned for Fighters only, would it mean no +2 Bastard Sword for other classes... now I am left with the question- "If the Slayer Sword is essentially a +2 Bastard Sword and a +2 Bastard Sword is released later for all fighter types to use, what makes the Slayer Sword special?" That bothers me a bit, but I am not a Fighter player... is there anyone out there who is mainly a fighter player who has an opinion?
Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.

I'm a fighter, only ever been a fighter...and I love it.

So in regards to your questions or criticism:

1. Slayer Sword? Really? I feel like one of Buffy's sidekicks now...not very roman or celtic or whatever it was you were looking for. I had a "Highlander" joke planned for comparison but the "Slayer" part of the sword was just too glaring of an inclusion to shy away from.

2. If you aren't giving the weapon anything special that reflects a fighter, make it a +2 bastard sword and open it back up to the other classes that are proficient with that weapon. This token has lost its fighter flavor and feel through the multitude of adjustments and nerfs, so make it available to everyone who can wield it at this point.

3. This token will not get a lot of PYP value for two simple reasons. 1 - the +1 bastard sword is a rare from a year or two ago, and if the only difference is a +1 damage ability to it, it will go the way of the +2 longsword, overrated to unloved. I suspect that you will be using this token as the random "100" roll of the dice UR in those random packs. 2 - There are too many other better tokens worth having, I may get one of these for helping work on this weapon from the original winners list, but as a fighter, and only a fighter, I would NOT pick this when I bought any of my big purchases. Questor's Charm is too good to pass up, and the other armor's and weapon are more unique or valuable.

Need any more help, let me know...

My turn to pick the nits. As a cursed individual, I've been paying particular attention to the items coming out that help with saving throws this year. Seems like there's lots - with the Essences at common level (+2 for each type, one room duration), Runestones at uncommon (+1 for whole adventure, limit one type), Cloak of the Phalanx (for +1, although I'll take my Cloak of Resistance +2) and now the Charm of Luck (slotless and +1 across the board). Are you going to have to make saves tougher in designing the dungeon to offset this? BTW, feel free to send me a Charm of Luck with a customized "+4" written in.

I just think the fighter only sword should have a special on it. More exciting and keeps it from becoming just another sword.

Now the way it is the sword can have barbarian on it just like the rare bastardsword.

Yes, I play the fighter.

Clearly there's no point in me pushing for the Monks to be able to use the cestus...
so I'll ask why are they not allowed?
'splain it to me :)

It is too restricting of a weapon for them?? I mean if it can't fit in a pocket, or swing around REALLY REALLY fast...well then it just does not work for a monk!
