TOPIC: Very Latest Ultra Rare Tokens!

The changes to the +2 Double Edge sword are OK.  It was acutally a little more dangerous (to the Fighter) the other way as the damage wasn't limited to 3 points.  But, I can see the logic behind it, sort of like using a double-edged razor blade (you need to be real careful using it).<br /><br />I finally accept the Circlet of the Great Druid.  I can live with the consequences of using it and best of all, no destruction of UR token!!!!!<br /><br />Removing the immunities from the Crown of Might is still nerfing it but it now the wizard's choice more difficult.  I would like to see some of the immunities make it back into the completed 3 item set.<br /><br />Absolutlely still abhor the charm.  See all sorts of difficulties and arguments occuring in non-cohesive groups (i.e., two or more people claiming it was their 20 that was slid.  Seems like a difficult thing for the DM to remember (who slid what).  Also see these same groups knocking a 20 off and getting into an argument.)  There are (already) too many advantages to hitting the 20 (double damage, + DOOM, dispelling outsider, killing giant, +20 backstab damage, etc.).  Please don't add any more things.  By the way, I was fine with the way it was originally (though I admit that it could be schemed, e.g., in the stirge room one could delibertly miss the first round, then call for a chain lightning in the second round).  I know it is slot free and that's a big deal, but I just can't see it being useful (the way my group slides).

Crown is worthless in my .02 - I suggest it restores back to the way it was...  It was on my list of must haves...but with just +1AC it is nerfed into the ground (and off my list).<br /><br />oh yes - if you want to sell more tokens and keep set-builders happy - it might be nice to advise which items will be part of a SET.<br /><br />Of course sets that not all classes can use - or too many sets for certain classes is not good...B B F P come to mind.

<br />All good changes it seems.  The Double-Edged Sword has a VERY minor drawback now, it might be the best token in the set now (if you're a Fighter).  <br />

Yes, the crown comes off our list now unless we can be sold on the set, but the druid circlet is now hmmm... Does the druid get the hit points and defenses of a dire bear, or just the damage?<br /><br />Does the double edged sword bearer still take the first attack? That was the best thing about it.

Sure, the Crown is off the list of the character classes that can already use the other Helms - but for those classes that couldn't use a Helm, it is major power creep, as it gives them the equivalent of a Helm.  I'd like to pick one up for every party member I have that can't use a Helm - another point of AC for those classes is GREAT!  I think it's overpowered actually, it seems like some classes shouldn't have a Helm, or eventually all classes will seem like the other classes.

Oh and I liked the original picture for it too.<br /><br />Questor's charm was going to be my second pick and I will still probably get it despite the fact that I can not hit a 20 if my life depended on it. Also what if I slide a 20 but then someone bumps mine out. Does that 20 still count or is only the 20's that remain at the end of the round? Otherwise the rest of the Purps are cool but I really don't have an opinion on them.<br /><br />Lady Myke

<br /><br />Ah, but you can be done fudging with things any time you want - it's Jeff that's stuck with it.  It's a good thing there's so many of us to help him out!<br /><br />

One point of AC is hardly MAJOR power creep...and with the head slot getting some cool new items...well...again the crown is small beans now especially for an UR! 

I think it just depends on which character you prefer to play. For characters that don't have anything for their headslot yet, it would be cool (maybe not pyp now, but definitely still useful).
