TOPIC: New Trade Items

OK, I wanted to run a quick poll and see what you were interested in having for future Trade Items.  <br /><br />Given that we plan on haveing a combo or two tailored for Trade Items (ideally in addition to the Combo Tokens).  <br /><br />Let us know what other things you would like to see.<br /><br />These would be added to the existing list of 4 trade items already available.<br /><br />Thank you for your input.<br /><br />Dave

Dave, what about some common general gear being traded in for a blanket, tent/canvas or a similar trade item?

trade items for masterwork items and bone scroll cases would be nice. Of course, an actual use for bone scroll cases would be nice too.

Getting rid of common items would rock, as would having a use for Rare weapons and armor!

I believe bone scroll cases protect your scrolls from destruction much the same way that an alchemist pouch does for potions.  Someone feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong.  I've also seen them used in the dungeon to assist in solving a puzzle.  It was one of the items you could ask for in the key room this year if you presented the token to the dm.<br /><br />Kim

<br /><br />It would be neat to have a trade-in that required an ultra rare.  That way folks can trade in an UR +1 ring of protection, a UR gem, or the like.

I would like to see something done with the Green masterwork items.  I have about 80 useless tokens and would love to turn them into something productive.<br />I'd also throw the Holy Symbol of Pelor into this category.<br /><br />I voted for the common items and rare weapons/armor but also like getting rid of some scrolls. 

Yes, thanks I know what the purpose of the scroll cases is. I guess I was hinting for a few events that might trigger a need for them. Thinking about actually doing it though, destroying scrolls for the unlucky few that did not bring the token, raises lots of logistical problems in the dungeon for the DM, so maybe not.

I vote for a trade item or combo token that would require the use of at least a few Keen Edge scrolls.  I think a large number of people would be happy to get rid of some of that particular token.<br /><br />Kim

<br /><br /><br />Don't forget that they already did that last year with the Dagger of Throwing. But it may be time for another Keen Edge purge.

<br /><br /><br />Hey, those lower-end UR's already have a special in-game use - such as bribing ornery Hill Giants! (95% chance of not attacking).

I'm also hoping to trade in uncommon gears (bracers, masterwork X).
