I personally think that multiple shirts should stack . At least up to a hundred anyway.

Interesting that half way through they switch to mostly Big Dogs shirts.

Big Dog or Goodwill?

More Observations on Stacking 15 years 10 months ago #17

We've been looking at the guide and the information on the tokens with respect to masterwork items and it seems like

- the masterwork holy symbol would not stack with the Holy Symbol of Pelor
- the masterwork bard's instrument would not stack with the Widseth's instrument

but

- the masterwork thieves tools seem like they would stack with Ekdtar's Tinkering Tool

It's noteworthy that the thieves tools and the tinkering tool have what seem to be different actions, which is why it seems like they would stack. The holy symbols have the same action, with the Pelor symbol more powerful but acting the same way, which is why they seem like they would not stack, and the Widseth instrument having the same effect as the masterwork instrument as well as an additional effect, which intuitively suggests that they would not stack.

Is this correct?

That's right - the MWtools and ETTool will work together...more like one after the other...the other items do not get that same chance.

OK, one more perplexing (at least to me) stacking question. How do the the gauntlets of ogre power and the belt of Hill Giant Strength work together, assuming they are worn by a fighter? Since the gauntlet token says +1 to hit and damage and the belt token simply says +3 strength, it seems to warrant a description of the combined effect.

Yeah that one is confusing...the trick is in the total adjustment to STR score...

Every CHAR except the Barbarian has an even number STR score - so the Girdle +3 and +2 from the Gloves gives everyone +2 to hit and +2 damage. On the Barbarian he gets +3 +3.

good answer - makes sense to me. Now here's a tougher one. If this well equipped fighter is listening Widseth's Mystical Lute from his bard friend while he is fighting, how does all that stack? Is the fighter now +4/+4?

or noting the token says +2 damage with no mention of a to hit bonus, is the fighter now +2 to hit +4 damage?

it's starting to sound like we might - I know it's a longshot - have a chance to survive a nightmare run
