TOPIC: Best Paladin Melee Weapon

So, what is the best melee weapon I should use as a Paladin?<br /><br />I have a Great Sword, but would a +1 Long Sword be better?<br /><br />(Actually, my slider aim could be better, too...but I digress.)<br /><br />Any and all suggestions are welcome, so I can try to do some trading/buying before GenCon.<br /><br />Thanks<br />Dave

Yep it's OoP, but not impossible to find. I've got one spare for instance, but haven't found anything worth trading it for yet.

<br /><br />Speaking as the guy who usually ends up running the Paladin in my group, I'd have to ask how many cupcakes she's wearing first.  Then I'd decide if she was a good enough weapon for the Paladin to use.  The problem is, though, that she'd probably be too much of a distraction for said Paladin, thus her usefulness as a weapon would be negligible.  Therefore I say the Paladin should carry an extra 50' of rope to tie up the maiden and bring her along while packing the +2 Holy Great Sword to use on the bad guys.  If you must have a shield, then there are any number of good one handed weapons that can be used in conjunction with a good shield.

Ha!  No.... I meant would Henwy be willing to trade a Holy Sword for that?    hahaha

I think it's supposed to be that slightly mussed come hither thing.
