You know, for a while I wanted it to be a trade item for similar types of ingredients, so essentially a metal for metal thing. I think, though to keep things much simpler for me and hopefully for you, I will just say any token listed in the guide as a weapon or armor, of the respective rarity.

So any weapon even bone types and clubs, and any armor including shields and helms.

Greyhawk's army needs the supplies...

Dave

Even holy water, alchemest fire, bolts, arrows, and bullets?

No, definitely not bolts arrows and bullets, they do not have a damage wheel, I will probably place them in a special section of the new guide, so I we can just limit it to the weapons and armor sections of the token guide (after I move the projectiles, that is)

Alchemist's Fire has a damage wheel... and Holy Water.

Not always. There's a good differentiation. If it's always had a damage wheel, it's a weapon.

Yes, I know they do now, that is why I am moving the projectiles to another section and essentially saying that the items have to be listed in the armor or weapon sections of the guide to be used, Holy Water is in the Potions (liquids) section, and Alchemist's Fire is in the Item section.

I understand that not even weapons always had damage wheels. Sorry, just gotta be a snot once in a while.

I'll be happy to take any of those 2003/4 weapons without damage wheels off of anyone's hands, just to make things simpler for TD =D

Dave can we get something to do with all the +1 magic items =D

Also some cool combo item based only on gold? Say 5000 =D

I'd agree with that - the supply of +1 Rare Weapons is greatly outweighing demand - there are a ton out there and nobody needs one (everyone wants a PURP weapon now). It's really the biggest supply problem out there, now that there are weapon and armor reserve tokens for commons & uncommons. If there could be some kind of Combo in the future that requires like 5 Rare +1 Weapons that would be fantastic!

Or 5 +1 weapons for the uncommon wepaon token Elven Bismuth would be neat.

Or 2-3 red sets of armor for the uncommon armor token Oil of Enchantment would rock!

Hate to play devil's advocate here but if those uncommon recipes require 25 armor/weapons shouldn't the amount of rares for those items be half that? 12 or 13? Seeing is there is one rare and two uncommons in every bag it seems right... Sorry. I don't like it either.

Well we have about
1 rare token : 2 uncommon tokens : 7 common tokens

The wonky thing is that weapons are not at that rate (I don’t think).

I have 77 rare weapon tokens : 78 uncommon weapon tokens : 617 common weapon tokens

It “should” be 77 : 154 : 539

But the thing Dave can do is to just adjust how many he charges for a combination accordingly. It could be that 8 common trade in weapon tokens are handed out for every 1 uncommon weapon trade in token. Perhaps then you can trade in 8 common, for 1 uncommon when we trade in.

Edit: Fixed, thanks! =D

I haven't done the math of my own stash yet but I imagine that you are right about that ratio with me as well. It seemed like when I opened my tokens I was always slightly disappointed to see so many uncommon weapons and armor, knowing that anyone who could would try for rare armor and weapons as first priority. Now that the trade item recipes are out it seems like I got far fewer uncommon weapons and armor than I originally thought.

Oh, and the ratio should be 1 rare: 2 uncommons: 7 commons.
