What is everybody's favorite 2008 Tokens? Which have you the most excited to use in the Dungeon this year?

For me, my favorite token this year is the Dragonscale Helm. It completes my Dragonscale set (Helm, Shield, Armor), which is neat functionally (extra AC and I think 10 total points of fire protection), and it's also cool thematically to think of walking around the Dungeon completely clad in Dragonscale Armor =)

My favorite is Boots of the Leopard. I remember the discussions where we were all giving input on the new tokens, and I suggested that Boots of the Cat needed to have a flashier name, perhaps using a breed of cat. Then the proof sheet came out, and there they were! It is so cool to feel I had input even if it's just a name. Thanks Jeff, for letting us have input like that!
Excellent point - I am really excited about the tokens that I had input to this year, a couple of which made it in intact and some morphed as they made it in - but especially the Amulet of Wonder - and I'll be hanging on to my Proof contest prize Amulet forever =)

As for our party members, I'm really excited about Widseth's Mystical Lute, so our Bard can participate in the combat slides as well as singing - that will be a lot of extra fun for him!

I'm not excited about any of them this year - because I didn't pull any of the ones I wanted. *pouts*

But - that just gives me more reason to do what I tend to do every year... wander up to the token sales area and say... "Just one more. Really. This is the last one." about 6 or 17 times.
=)

My Fave of the year is the Belt of Retrieval. It would have been at the top of my Pick-a-Purp list if it had been an UR (which I think it could have been. It certainly beats many of the URs out there.)

My 2nd fave, and at the top of my P-a-Purp list this year, was the Ektdar's Tinkering Tool.

I'm surprised it wasn't something shinier!
But doesn't Ektdar's Tinkering Tool help to lead to more shiny things?

Kim

I think it leads to people yelling at you 'Take the clue, damnit! Don't be a greedy bastard!'. Or maybe that's just my group.

I didn't get the Ekdar's Thieving Tool this year for just that reason, it would only help the Rogue to get bonus tokens for himself. If the lockpicking helped the group more it would be another matter. Our Thief didn't get shortchanged this year though, I got more PURP tokens for our Thief than for anyone else (the Barbarian is a close 2nd).

It is pretty amazing that it can be used in the Ranger's Off-Hand, on top of the neat "hits ghosts more often" ability.
