TOPIC: Token Announcement About Remaining Golden Tickets

Well...I was wrong...again.  George will be taking over next year!  He was right.<br /><br />I thought our supply of tokens (and GTs) would last until June, but it looks like we will sell out of the first printing (and all GTs) by the time tickets go on sale April 20th!  <br /><br />Oops!  Looks like I goofed up again.  Sorry for blowing that call for everyone.  It is not good to be out of stock when tickets go on sale.  My bad.  Sorry for screwing that up!<br /><br />I thought I would give fair warning to everyone here before the general public knows.  We will most likely be in an "out of stock" status for a month or so until the second printing arrives.<br /><br />No need to rush, but I think we should run out around the 10th or so of April, and we should not have any in stock again until around June.  My guess is that the demand for the GTs and proof tokens helped some, but sales have not slowed down after the proof offer went away.  Go figure.<br /><br />Anyway, thanks to everyone for their help with making the tokens much cooler than I could alone -- and for their support with their purchases.  Special thanks goes to a certain humble Smakdown who continues to support True Dungeon extremely well without asking for anything special in return.  His support alone allowed me to buy a prop I have been dreaming about for years.  It should bring a lot of smiles -- and a few geek giggles to the players.  And I think he is more excited about the fun he is providing than me!<br /><br />Lastly, thanks to Dave Radtke for putting forth is considerable talents with the Token Guide and token development.  He puts up with my creative wacky sensibilities without resorting to violence...so far.

Eeep!  They are selling out?  *hehe*  I bet we all place more orders now =D<br /><br />I would think that the golden ticket is a winning idea!  <br /><br />Mayhaps you can expand on it for other prizes.  I would love to win a chance to work with you folks to help create and name a token, for example: <br /><br />Combo

I am glad I got my taxes back from the accountant (yesterday) so I know I can afford make my second (and apparently final) GT token purchase. <br /><br />(Starts to hold breath).

Jeff - if I'm reading your text correctly, are you saing that ALL SIXTEEN Golden Tickets will be put into packs which will likely sell out by 4/10?<br /><br />If so, it's time for those who are holding out to jump on the bandwagon and buy more tokens for that one in a million chance!

<br /><br />Yep Golden Tickets are only to be included in the first batch of tokens.<br /><br /><br />

Well, since there are still 6 to be claimed, and the last of the token batch is almost sold out, that seems to point to a reasonable chance of getting one with that final order.  I'll bet with this announcement out, the remaining tokens will sell out within a couple of days, with a "Gold Rush" to get those final token packs which COULD have a Golden Ticket in it  =)

We could 'sell' off the parts of a token purchase. Someone pays X for all the chance to keep any 00's that show up. Someone pays Y for the chance to keep any GT's found. Someone pays for the PyP that comes with. Someone pays for the rares and UCs and Cs.<br /><br />You know, the more I think about this idea, the more I like it. Someone remind me about this next year when token buying time swings around again.

Feh. The hell I'm going through is I _really_ don't want any more tokens. I can't store and move them all around as it is. I'm worried about this poker trunk collapsing at some point. If I could find someone who wanted to go splitsies and take the bulk with them, I'd be a happy camper.<br /><br />Hmmm. I wonder how much I would pay for just the chance of a GT or the chance of a 00.
