TOPIC: Now that we have tokens . . . what are the combo items?

<br /><br />I got 8/121 scrolls of keen edge . . . it seems to be a gimped token to me.  I hope it is part of a combo this year.

<br /><br />Mayhaps you can release some of the trade in items now, and some later.  Like how many metal weapons you need to get one of them fancy army contract tokens worth gold!  And announce the special other tokens later.

When we publish them it will be all at once, I just want to discuss it with Jeff first.  We will be meeting this weekend, so I will try and get resolution and post asap.

Dis you see that Henry?  He said 'and post asap'.  <br />That must mean he likes our idea of covering him in tree sap, etc, and cloning him.  (I think he just didn't want to be TOO obvious about it.)

My only hope is if you are just 1 ingredient shy of a full 6 there will be some way to make that up, because I firmly believe there is not a spare spider-silk anywhere.

In the past, dave has let any purp substitute for a missing ingredient. It happened a lot of people and that purify food and drink scroll.

Well then I will have to decide if $250 is worth the combo item as the only way I get URs is thru PYP.

No clue if things will be differnet this time around. I only saw it a couple times anyway. I think the guy traded in a woodie emerald or sapphire for the purify. Last year, they all ran out so fast there was no oppertunity at all for anyone who didn't have all the ingredients. It's only when there are leftovers that Dave was willing to haggle, I think.

<br /><br />Once you announce the trade item tokens (Example: 20 metal armor or weapons for a 100 GP steel ingot . . . or whatever it will be), would it be possible to get an idea of how many you will need to have on hand?  Can you order more in time for GenCon if the demand is high enough?  I will certainly give you a count of how many I would want to turn in for trade tokens.<br />

They have been saying for the last two years that they are hoping to have a 4 C token that you can only get with the ingredient tokens, and one that you can get with other tokens.  If they are only able to do one 4C token, they said they might have it have two alternate recipes, one with ingredient tokens and one without.  Personally, I hope they have one that you can only get with all the ingredient tokens, since that is what they've been building towards all this time.  <br /><br />I doubt they will have anything that lets you substitute for just one ingredient token, if you're missing an ingredient token, you'll probably have to do the "no ingredient tokens" recipe. Of course that's just speculation, we'll have to see what the ingredient lists are.
