TOPIC: "Power" or "Cool Factor"

Since I always play the wizard for the Companions of Chaos, when I finally joined the Tokenholics Anonymous this fall I got stuff that I thought was kewl for a wizard.  The Cloak of the Mage and Ring of Focus weren't the most sought after tokens but that was what I wanted to make running a wiz a little more kewl.  For my first 2008 purchase I am going to get the Amulet of Wonder.  Not because of it's potential value but because of the kewl effects I think it will have and really, who doesn't want a 4th level wiz in the group in 2008?  I have a second Ring of Focus that I hope to use to get a Ring of Wizardry in trade but I haven't acquired UR's based on perceived value or power.  I equip the CoC and I hope to get kewl stuff for the other classes too but character building is what I focus on first.

<br /><br />The Ring of Focus was one of my Top PURPs I got last year, and I still think it was one of the top PURPs last year.  It adds one to every healing spell the Cleric & Druid do, plus one to every combat spell the Wizard has - and you can pass one ring among the three as required. Plus, you can wear a protective ring for most of the dungeon, and just put in the Ring of Focus when needed.  I ended up with three due to "00" bags, but I don't mind  =)

Since I play either the Bard or the Ranger, my choice of tokens is usually "what can I use for BOTH classes in case I have to switch at the last minute"?  Of course, that's a moot point with the scrolls, but I take those with in case the real spellcasters run out.

What I'd like to do is encase all the tokens I'll be using in those little plastic holders but the woodie's non-standardized sizes is ticking me off. That's the only reason I'd really prefer a chip version of it.
