TOPIC: What would you pick if there is a PYP in 08?

I am always the party wizard and my current UR's are Cloak of the Mage, Ring of Focus and +2 Great Axe.  I am resposible for equipping my group so I am torn on what Purp I would pick if the PYP promo happens in 08.  Here is what is on my short list and why.  <br /><br />Ring of Wizardry - Of course I want this, I'm the wizard<br />Amulet of Wonder - Dunno what this will do from year to year but it just seems kewl and I don't have a HOP so I would wear it<br />+1 Mithral Longsword - Like the +2 Great Axe this would be used by someone else in the party, the ranger of the group is, of course, voting I get this.<br />Girdle of Hill Giant Strength - What party wouldn't like having a Barbarian with the Girdle, Gauntles of Ogre strength and a +2 Great Axe?<br />Gloves of Dex - Increase my Wiz AC<br /><br />I have no idea what I will pick if the PYP promo happens again in 08 but please feel free to let me know your opinions and what you have on your short list of UR's for 08.<br />

My only "must-get" is the Dragonscale Helm for my Druid, to complete the Dragonscale Shield/Armor/Helm set.<br /><br />That might be all I get.  If I do get more, Widseth's Lute and maybe a couple of Tower Shields or additional Dragonscale Helms are high on the list.  <br /><br />Although, I should be getting a nice proof Amulet of Wonder  =)

I am really only interested in the Mithral Longsword or the Amulet of Wonder.<br /><br />Now that I am a homeowner and poor (again), I have to be very picky with my purchases.

Helm / Amulet for sure...after that - I too will be looking at a smaller purchase plan.

<br /><br />You can, the rest of us have to make choices.  <br /><br />Lute, Amulet, DS helm and thorny armor are my top 4.  Now I need to sell a lot of trains so I can afford a few more. 

Amulet of Wonder is #1 choice for the kewl effects.  Ring of Wizardry would be #2 (I am a wizard afficianado, like antnee).  #3 would likely be Widseth's Lute (as long as he would sign it!).<br />
