TOPIC: Token Display, How can I show off my swag?

I have seen a few people who have had some pretty cool ways to display their tokens on their person.  Most notably I was thinking of a few fold out wallets with clear pockets for tokens as it hangs around the neck.  I heard that they were made by a volunteer a few years ago.  I did pick up a few of the clear round plastic token cases this year but I still don't have an easy and easily accessible way to hang my tokens around my neck.  Any suggestions or products that I should be aware of?

Actually, I did go on a run this year with a father and his two young sons who took all of their useful tokens, armor, scrolls, potions and misc. equipment, and put double sided tape on them and stick them to their sleeves while they were in the dungeon.  My first thought was that they might fall off but they all stayed on quite well and were utilized very effectively in the dungeon.  It is as practical of an idea as I need but not very good for outside the dungeon.  I just want to be able to easily wear my equipment and have access to the things that I use or show most.

You do know they are magnetic?  I have seen several folks looking to exploit that..

I like the idea of maybe having a magnetic folder that I could just put some things like scrolls and potions in but I must forcefully dis one of the natural forces, magnetism.  No way am I trusting an Ultra Rare to stay on a magnet.  Still the whole magnetic property is not one to be ignored.  If I did have a folder like that I suppose that I would be too paranoid about what I was keeping it next to.  A folder that destroys many electronics is quite a liability.

It would be pretty cool to have a like a shirt or something with magnets sewn into it so that you could put tokens on yourself and use them at any time.  I wonder if there is a place where I can buy a bunch of those heavy duty earth magnets.  Something to think about.

<br /><br />Three good places for magnets:<br /><br /> www.sciplus.com/category.cfm/subsection/11 <br /> www.amazingmagnets.com/ <br /> forcefieldmagnets.com <br /><br />They all have small high power magnets at varying prices.<br /><br />I can attest to the "21716 WONDER MAGNET" from sciplus to being impressively powerful (though at $13 for a 1x1x.5 magnet you would hope so)<br /><br />Keep in mind that high end magnets are temperamental, among other problems if you let them slap together they will shatter and cease being useful (I keep my strong magnets always wrapped in at least a half an inch of corrugated cardboard to try and avoid shattering them)

All right, now I have a pretty interesting idea for these magnets.  I ordered two of the "Wonder magnets" which each have a very impressive 35lbs pull.  I was thinking that I could put one inside my shirt and tape it there and then put my weapon on it.  There is no way that it would just fall off but it would be very convenient.  It is not really practical for all of the equipment that a person wears but for one or two things it could be very useful.

So I got my "21716 WONDER MAGNETS" And holy mackerel are they strong!  I have a thin red line on my middle fingers where they pinched my finger trying to get at each other, hurt like the dickens!  Not only am I nearly positive that they will keep the UR's that I need to use often safe but they are so strong that I might pick up a few additional ones on accident.<br /><br />Raven, if you knew of anyone that wanted a nice five finger discount on some tokens I suggest that they invest in the wonder magnet.  You have to aim when shooting fish in a barrel, with these the fish fly towards you alarming fast.
