TOPIC: Question about UR's

<br /><br />Me personally?  No.<br />I have twice been on runs where someone in our group pulled a purple.

Does an artisan count?

<br /><br /><br />No.  However, on one of my first three runs ever (2006), one of the ladies in our group pulled a Purp RoP+1.  She didn't want to come back to TD, so she gave it to the group.  The remaining two players (the rest split) gave it to me for saving them with Elixers.  I gave them full plate and some other goodies.<br /><br />

I have pulled three.<br /><br />One was just a random treasure box pull in 2006 with a random group of strangers. <br /><br />Two for solving different hard, optional puzzles in 2005 (for one of which, I was told that I was the first person to ever solve that particular puzzle).<br />

Did we get purples or reds on the first "Patsy" run?

The one UR (Great Axe +2) I have was pulled in dungeon treasure by someone in my family, who gave it to me at the end of the run, since I'm the crazy token collector.

<br />Purples (and a couple reds). But those don't exactly count the same as others found in the dungeon in a regular run. If I recall correctly, you got a 2004 +1 greatsword?

<br /><br />Well, I guess your right they don't count.  It is sad to think I can't remember what I got, but I thought it was purple. 

No George, you got a purple--we all did. I recall it was something better than the +2 dagger I got and the girdle which you didn't get but really wanted. And then (I think it was Doug) later traded you the girdle because he wanted everyone to be happy. <br /><br />You also picked up the old greatsword during the run, in addition to the pick from a pile of purples at the end.

I have never gotten an UR from any of my TD runs. I have been through TD 7 times in 3 years and have seen just 1. It was beneath a grate and we didn't have alot of time to try to get it out. No one in my group of 5 have gotten one in 3 years. Thank heavens for the "pick-a-purp" program.<br /><br />Larry
