Oh come on, George & Gary... you know all you guys wanted to wear the pretty black dresses too. =]

Sorry Jammies but one look at my legs in a dress and even a drow would have nightmares.

I think that the 4C tokens are going to be hard enough to make that they should be something usable by everyone. I also hope that one of them will be an item that I would actually use, if it's going to be a lot of trouble to make.

Ideas that would allow some purple token player power-creep, but not change player balance too much:
A simple luckstone (+1 to hit, +1 to saves or even a weaker +1 to saves only) would be something that everyone would use.
Ioun stone: +2 strength would be something that almost everyone would benefit from
Ioun stone: +2 constitution (so +1 fort saves, +3 hp) would be something everyone, I think, would love to have
Might change player balance:
Boots of Speed (player gets to make a extra attack once per dungeon) would be something nearly everyone could benefit from

Non-combat items:
Chime of Opening (limited use--maybe 3 charges, acts as a knock spell but does not set off traps)
Gem of insight(could be either limited use or once per dungeon--player gets a room specific hint from the GM)
Wand of Wonder(limited use--maybe 3 charges. GM rolls a d20 and applies a specific random mostly benign or helpful effect--would require another GM card, but would be easy to do)

While a drow rod of tentacles (usable only by clerics, acts as a flail in combat, living monsters must save or loose a turn) would be a very cool drow specific item, it wouldn't have a lot of use by most people.

4C tokens will not be class specific.

How about : The City of Greyhawk Key - one per party, usable once and then it is destoryed - it allows the party to (defeat) one room by bypassing it all together. Must be used when they first enter a room. They take no damage from anything. But they don't get to do the Rogue's chest or anything besides getting the token( if there is one) for solving the room.

It's a kewl idea, but doesn't seem like much fun - I want to solve the puzzle/fight the monster. Are you thinking it would be an emergency use item (all low on HP, cleric dead, no hope, etc.)?
