TOPIC: I hope the "pick your purple" sale ends soon.

With all the discussion on Ebay sales, I have started spending too much time watching the prices over there.<br /><br />< ----  I keep running an estimate in my head

I've decided to hold off until next year.  I know this means no HoP for me, but I should be able to buy the $250 pack next year (rather than the $100 pack), meaning an UR in the future.<br />

<br /><br />And George, I think you are on the low end of your estimates.  Think if you sold the Horn of Plenty instead (~$150).  Honestly, prices on eBay don't make sense.  I am pretty sure that people don't know about the "Pick a Purp" offer.

<br /><br />They are so mean on ebay.  I try to buy things at really great discounts, like Gauntlets for $9.50 and everyone swoops down at the last minute and raises the bid to something silly like $16.00.<br /><br />Not a good market for bottom fishing.  <br /><br /><br />There may be too many girdles and even horn on Ebay.  I wonder what a holy sword would sell for?<br /><br />

Just wait until the Pick Your PURP ends (and maybe until the PURPs people are buying just to resell on Ebay clear out), and the top discontinued PURPs should go up in value like the older ones did.
