I'm sure that hasn't stopped a lot of us from already putting together a list of what we hope to snag. <br /><br />It's sorta interesting for me since a lot of the improvements are in classes that I am flat certain I will never play in my TD career. It becomes sort of like the RoF dilemma this year. Whether or not to try to pick it up for the group when there are other tokens that might benefit a class that I will play more directly. <br /><br />Anyway, here's what's on my want list in rank order:<br /><br />1) +2 Great Club of Bashing<br /><br />2) Widseth’s Mystical Lute<br /><br />3) Minotaur Hide Armor<br /><br />We have a dedicated bard in our core group and I'm sure she'd flip for the lute. Other than that, I've played a barb in the past and that's the most likely class I'd try that I don't have good URs for.

I kinda feel the same way.  I think the Lute possibly the best UR in the lineup, but I don't play bard.  What to get... what to get.

I think my four in next years purchase will be:<br /><br />1(a  DragonScale Helm (finishing the set)<br /><br />  (b  The lute (#2 son will be beside himself)<br /><br />  (c  +1 Half-plate (I traded away #1 son's +1 plate for a focus ring)<br /><br />  (d  +2 Broadsword <br /><br /><br />The big test of self control.  Can I limit myself to just 4?<br /><br /><br />

I gotta say the Lute has a certain appeal to me too.  I'm still kind of overwhelmed and self conscious about it.<br /><br />I wonder if there is any kind of a trend here:<br /><br />Gearon's Mace--dull pain in the head<br />Nightshades Short Sword--pain in the back<br />Widseth's Lute--ear ache<br /><br />I wonder if +10 Tylenol would be the next token.<br /><br /><br />Widseth

I don't play a bard but that lute is just awesome and it's a must have for any hardcore bard.<br /><br />For myself, there are currently two 2008 tokens I'm after:<br /><br />- armor of the thorn<br />- ring of focus <br /><br />Neither are absolute must haves for me but both would be useful.<br /><br />

My wants list:<br /><br />1) +1 Mithral LongSword. (I hate incorporeal critters. Apprently my slider is doomed to always end up facing away from the dot, even if I slide a Critical. (Especially if I slide a Crit.)<br /><br />2) Widseth's Lute<br /><br />3) Gem of Imprisonment. (or, really, most any other UR, which I would then offer to trade for a Gem'o'I)<br /><br />

<br /><br />I was thinking this would only be needed if Henwy's Bitter Brew was brought out. Then you could add headache to your list. Or hangover depending on how much you drank. haha. =D<br /><br />Lady Myke
